Falls of the La Chute — Attraction in Town of Ticonderoga

The Falls of the La Chute is a 20-25 foot waterfall in Ticonderoga, NY. The falls are beautiful to look at and there is a nice park with a covered bridge surrounding them. The area beneath falls is a popular fishing spot. The Falls of the La Chute are also sometimes called the "Falls of Carillon." After viewing the falls be sure to take a walk on the La Chute River Interpretive Trail. You can walk upstream along side the river and view other waterfalls in the area. The Ticonderoga Heritage Museum is also nearby and is worth a look. Stop by for a nice waterfall and nice walk...

Nice spot to pull over and stretch your legs! The waterfalls are beautiful and so are the grounds. There is a small park for the kids. Excellent place to walk and exercise.
