Enjoyed the store and what it had to offer. Unfortunately had a very bad experience trading in cards. Iām a collector and called ahead to see if trading cards for credit was accepted, they said there ācard guyā was not in that day so I called back a few days later to make sure he was in. I came in and traded some pops and had the cards double sleeved and in elite trainer boxes. They told me I received $45 in credit but the women pointed at the pops when she said that and then asked the guy if he was doing the cards and he said yes. I walked around the store for about an hour and came back up to the counter to see how looking at my cards was coming (I brought a little over 100) only for the ācard guyā to tell me that he was already done with them and that the $45 credit was for everything. When the women told me the trade in value it had only been maybe 5 minutes of me being there, so how he looked at every single card is beyond me. I also for the last twenty minutes of waiting was just standing by the register showing that I was waiting. There was no āhey we will accept these cards and these ones we wonāt because they donāt hold a lot of valueā it was just $10 for cards I definitely didnāt actually look at. Very upsetting mainly because they have a ācard guyā who I had to wait for only to find out he didnāt even care to look at my merchandise. For final context I was trading in PokĆ©mon cards from about 5 years ago, double sleeved and multiple cards that I know are well above $10 (empoleon alt art and charizard 25th anniversary to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLet me start by saying the stars here are only for inventory; they had no customer service. I went to the store a little after they opened on a weekday. I looked around at some games, then made my way to the front "cage" area where the systems are. I was looking at them and made eye contact with the woman behind the counter, as she was behind the cage. Then she proceeded to go over to the register (no one was there), so I followed to ask a question and stood there. She proceeded to look at me, then away. So I went by the card section; in front, there was someone stocking shelves. I said, "Hi, can you help me?" I was ignored. Then I went to the comic section, and there was a man there, but face down in work and wouldn't even look up. I then proceeded to walk by all these people one last time on my way out. The only time I was acknowledged was when an employee was on the phone and said, "Excuse me." This is about the second time this has happened to me there. Personally, I will not be going back to this location. It shouldn't be that hard to buy something between no customer service and the way the games are stacked (see Xbox 360 games shoved in a bin with no order). I will just order online and wait; it will be less...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOk had to edit my 4 star review this business is unbelievable I spent 80 bucks on a game that did not work I live an hour and a half away from this store! They did make it right by getting me another game but that was after a second trip and 70 dollars spent on a console that was not needed just because they got it to work 1 time on a seperate one. I gave the place a second chance and went with two buddies. One buddy bought a console from them, and asked them before we leave can you test it. the guy behind the counter refused stating he was too busy even though he hadn't even boxed the console and it was clearly not busy. We trucked an hour and a half back home to find out the controller was absolute garbage the only button that worked was start the analogs/d pad didn't even work. My other buddy had bought a basic GameCube game to just get all the way home and find out they had given him the wrong game. Now we have to travel again another hour and a half to this store for them to fix a problem that could have been clearly avoided combined in the last two weeks we have spent over $400 on old video games at this place. We will not be doing business...
