ALDI — Local services in Town of Vestal

Food- For reasonably priced foods, with some no-name brands here's a perfect spot for those who are on a budget. You can save quite a bit of money shopping at Aldi's. They tend to have some decent sale ads and on Wednesday they tend to surprise with certain items on sale at a better price. Aldi's carries Quality, Freshness, Quantity & a good variety of foods and it's very tastey. I honestly believe that if you had a dinner party, a get together or a picnic, your quests won't believe your spread all came from Aldi's. Employee's - At times there are long line's till you reach the cashiers but if there's a too many customers waiting, they open up another register. The employees at the Vestal, NY store have always been polite, friendly, knowledgeable of their store's stock. I've never encountered a rude employee. All the employees & managers have always been very personable. If your looking for that certain item, an employee on the floor will gladly double check to see if they have any more. The Vestal store is usually kept very clean and organized. There's plenty of parking, wheelchair accessible, you can bring your own bags to pack your groceries in to save come using more plastic bags. For the Vestal Aldi's, I highly recommend you do your shopping there. I haven't had a bad experience and with a positive attitude, I doubt if I ever will. Only 1 thing got me upset, it had nothing to do with the store, it relates to having to put a quarter in the shoppingcart, I always leave my quarter in my cart for the next shopper. Its just a small random act of kindness. Twice, I left my cart near the side of the other carts, I left the quarter in thinking someone would be happy and maybe pass that on. But twice now, both times I saw adults walk up and push the cart into the others in order to get 25 cent back. Come On' Really People ! Like that 25 cent was going to do great things for you? How sad. This is the best place to shop for MOST food items. Be aware you need to bring a quarter to get a shopping cart...which when you put the cart back you get your quarter back. Prices are so low because you need to bring your own grocery bags and bag the food yourself, which I do NOT mind doing for the low prices and good quality food they have. The produce is guaranteed NOT to be sprayed with any pesticides of things to make it look colorful. There are no hormones or antibiotics in their brand of milk. Most of their no name brands are as good if not better than brand name stuff. They often get in surplus items of unexpected things at a tremendous discount,so shopping there every week can really be a treat! They also have a double guarantee...if you don’t like something, just bring it back for a full refund PLUS another item of equal value. I have only had to do this ONCE on all the years I have shopped here and there were no questions asked they just made the exchanges very easily. Some people complain that the lines are too long, but any time I have been there, they open up another register whenever there are more than three people in line...and I shop there at least twice a week.
