Town Square — Attraction in Town of Vestal

The Developers were Brilliant with the Strategic Location. With all routes leading to. Former site of the Vestal Drive Inn. This region of Broome County has been developing exponentially since it's creation. A head count of shoppers in this region, during business hours, would give Vestal Town Square, or Vestal Square... City Status!!

A very large Strip Mall located in the center of Vestals' business district on the Vestal Parkway, Route 434. There are many stores and businesses that draw a lot of people to the area, and all surrounding businesses.

(West to East) left to right. Walmart Super Center, Payless Shoe Dept, TJ Maxx, Ulta Beauty, 5 Below, Carter's Osh Kosh, GAP, Americas Best Contacts and Lenses, Sweet Frog, Banana Republic, VIP Nails, AMC Theaters, Sallys' Beauty, H&R Block, DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse, Van Cott Jewelers, AC Moore, Shoe Carnival, Dicks Sporting Goods, Dollar Tree, and Sams Club.

Hosts a variety of automobile shows, and other venues throughout the year.

On the other side of the parking lot; Barnes & Noble, Harbor Freight Tools, Visions ATM Plaza, and Visions Credit Union.

There is a large variety of restaurants and Fast food chain options encompassing the immediate and surrounding areas. TGI Fridays, Taco Bell, Red Robin, Chilli's, an eating section inside of Sams (serving hot Dogs, Pizza, and more), and a Burger King across the street from Harbor Freight, near Lowe's. A&W Long John Silvers, Red Lobster, Olive Garden, California Grill, and Subway are all about a 1/4 mile West. Arbys, Kampi Japanese Restaurant, Outback, and McDonald's are about an 1/8 of a mile to the East. Behind the Mall on Old Vestal Road; Pete's Diner(yes), and Take A Break.

There are 5 different coffee shops. 2 Dunking Donuts (one inside Walmart), 2 Star Bucks (one at Target), and there is a Coffee Shop, inside of Barnes & Noble.

There are many other businesses in the area including; Lowe's Home Improvement, Serafini Nissan, 4 Beauty Salons, and 8 Separate Plazas.

West of the Town Square Mall, across African Road, there is a Plaza called, "Shoppes at Vestal"; Micheals, Famous Foot Wear, Bath and Body Works, Old Navy, Dress Barn, Catherines, and Home Goods.

Adjacent to the Town Square Mall to the East; Coral Pools, Artifex, Red Robin, Sleep Number, The Vitamin Shoppe, Urgent Care, Aspen Dental, and Chilli's Restaurant.

Across the Vestal Parkway. Vestal Vet Hospital, The Sprint Plaza; Panda Nail Salon, The UPS Store, Sprint, Hertz Car Rental, Movement Mortgage, and Metro Mattress. Next to that is the Hoffman Car Wash. The Pier 1 Plaza is adjacent to that. It includes; Star Bucks, GameStop, and Pier 1 Imports. Next to that Plaza is, Zinnia Salon. Dunking Donuts.

Across Rano Blvd from Dunking Donuts, before you go up the hill, the mini plaza on the left has, AT&T, Bates Troy, and Music City.

Just up Rano Blvd, on the right is The Weis Plaza includes; a Bank, a Bar, a restaurant, Japanese take out, an Insurance Office, and Weis Grocery Store.

On the left there is a lawyers office, the Vestal Post Office, an embroidery shop, and a Liquor Store.

Next is the entrance to the The Parkway Plaza; (entrances from Rano Blvd, Vestal Parkway, and Jensen Road). Target, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Price Rite, Pet Smart, Men's Warehouse, Citizen Bank, and Kohl's. There is an Outback Steak House, and McDonald's in this Plaza.

Across the Vestal Parkway from the Parkway Plaza; NBT Bank, an Arbys, and a gas Station. Further East there is another small Plaza with; Vapor King, Asian Nails Salon, and Sliderz Bar and Grille.

Just East from that Plaza there is a Best Buy, with the entrance from Jensen Road. There are businesses on this part of Jensen Road as well, including; Midway Lane's and the Fun Zone, Plan3t, Core Building Supplies, Taylor Rental, and Enterprise Car Rental.

There are 6 separate stores you can shop for groceries in this area. Walmart, Sam's, Weis, Price Right, Target, and...

The brixmor moto is "communities connect and thrive" yet the parking lot destroys cars. Their response "you should look where your going." With no concern for being a respectful part of the community. Plenty of var shows each year. Unfortunately that part of the lot is an unkept mine field. Sure they patch the holes now and then. Just don't seem to be aware that each patch attempt makes the inevitable hole bigger and deeper. Now don't ever forget they will take no responsibility for you unintentionally hitting a hole. With an ever so rude comment of "you should have looked where you were going." So to recap on this. They do not care what the lot looks like. They do not care that the pot holes cause harm or damage. That is not being a part of any community. This is what happens when developers control property not locals who actually care about...
