Vintageness Consignment Boutique — Attraction in Town of Vestal

I don't understand a one star review at all. This is a wonderful place-- even better than the old Fabulous Finds which was, let's face it, VERY fabulous. Vintageness still carries designer consignment clothes at very low prices, with even better hours, longer steep discounts, and a wider selection. Am only sad they stopped carrying kids clothes and hope they will start that up again soon. They still offer 20 per cent and 40 per cent off after the merchandise has been a certain amount of time in the store, and even more of a discount on weekends. I've found great bargains, from Uggs to Calvin Klein to Kate Spade & designers from all over the world. There's high-end and regular nice clothes ie Gap, Chicos etc

They also have a tiny new clothing boutique area, that I cannot afford but love to admire. That section brings in some very toney customers, which is good for everyone, since THEY then consign their clothes here-- and the old lovely staff is still there-- along with the owner, a gentle and honest young woman. In my opinion this store is the very best of the best in second hand clothing and jewelry & accessories-- both for consigning and buying. Have done both, never had anything but a happy experience. I’ll be honest, I’m not going back in here. The ambiance is lovely if not a bit bright, the setup is tasteful, the store smells good, and the selection of designer clothes is decent. They also have a “regular” selection, which is alright. However, unless you want to pay extra for vintage designer clothing, much of which you could thrift or find on someone’s Etsy somewhere else for 1/3 the price, I would not go just for designer consignment, unless you need something tasteful quickly. That being said, this is a good shop for prom, and for any sort of formal event that requires a dress.

Here’s the thing. I felt like I was being watched the whole time by the staff. If you don’t care about that, great. Other reviews saying this place is snooty? I see what they mean. I low-key felt like Julia Roberts in Pretty Women. The staff are all barely-disguised fake laughs and side eyes, and my fight-or-flight response actually...

Tried to have a normal discussion with the owner about her selling horrible furs in her place...not even Macy's carry them in stores anymore, and she went from crazy to her tough man so called bf threatening me to "lawyering up" because I expressed my opinion of my freedom of speech if I didn't remove my comments. This Mark Yoncy has a lot of lets say "unique" behavior and court issues in the Binghamton area. Don't think of buying there! Just was contacted by another lady that had an issue with the owner and same thing happened with Mark threatening her! This place needs to go! Shop here and we will surely get your lawyer involved.
