Dr. Powers Park — Attraction in Tracy

This is a very nice park and looks well kept (mostly). It has tennis courts, a playground, a nice covered area with picnic tables, and a swimming pool (seasonal). We were there for the disc golf course. There are two separate 6-hole courses. One starts near the playground on one side of a small parking lot. The other starts next to the swimming pool. Both are nicely laid out and great for disc golfers of any skill. The only reason I did not give this park 5 stars is because of the homeless person that hand taken up residence on/under the tables behind the tennis courts. This is one of the best parks in the city of Tracy. It’s quite large. Has tennis courts. A Playground. A swimming pool that is open to the public. Picnic areas and disc golf. I do recommend that if you are going to get one of the picnic areas for a large party, that you get a permit from the city of Tracy and reserve the spot early. They fill up fast. I love to take my dogs for long walks, and they love to cool off under the shade of the big trees halfway through...

Great little playground for older kids. Lots of field and grass to run around on and play sports. There are covered tables, frisbee golf nets, a tennis court and a big hill that my kids always like to run up and down on. It's a decent park, but I wouldn't plan on visiting it just for the playground.
