The Grand Theater is a beautiful restored theater the bygone era. The the sculpture carvings on the ceiling and pillars are absolutely beautifully restored. Great sound system, lighting, decor, air conditioning, bathrooms clean, and a decent amount in the ladies' room. The seats were comfortable; not too small and vintage sized like many small theaters and regular seats available on the rear sides and box seats (which I'm sure they are more expensive). Good side: Atmosphere inside is clean and very nice. Comfortable seats, helpful staff. Terrifying side: Terrible location at night (especially 2+ blocks from Center: it becomes a dark industrial nightmare land). To complicate the matter: parking could be very dicey on a busy night when other neighbor businesses would be open/busy. It was a slow night when we were there (nearby major sports event that night).
