Bojangles — Restaurant in Tucker

We just made our first and last visit to this Bojangles location. The wait to order inside was almost 10 minutes due to only half of the employees actually working. The crew was "half and half". Half of the employees were either sitting and conversing in the dining area or wandering around while avoiding doing anything to assist with any type of work. The other half of the employees were trying to keep up with the workload and were clearly overwhelmed while the line of people waiting to order, both inside and at the drive through, kept getting longer. The young lady who took my order was actually apologetic, I felt bad for her. She is the ONLY reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1. Whoever is managing this location apparently has a double standard when it comes to employee expectations. The district manager seriously needs to do a reset at this store. This is stated for no other reason than to describe the actual situation observed and evidently tolerated at this location. As an aside, do not let the Bojangles TV ad for the Bojangler fish sandwich that makes it look awesome fool you. It is anything but awesome... The fish portion is far smaller than depicted (big surprise) and the flavor is underwhelming. If you want a truly awesome fish sandwich, go to Arby's and get a King’s Hawaiian Fish Deluxe, that one is the clear winner that shows how a fish sandwich...

I just let here and ordered a family variet feast which consist of 8 pieces of chicken 12 supremes and 8 biscuits. I ordered 4 extra pieces of chicken to make it 12 all dark meat. I only received 10 pieces of chicken 10 supremes and 6 biscuits. I went back in to get my missing food and the guy at the register proceeded to tell me I was lying sarcastically because he packed the box with an antagonizing smile. So upset now I explained to him what I ordered. He admitted on accident trying to be smart that he only gave me 6 biscuits. After I told him to turn around and look at the menu he wanted to tell me o well we don't have anymore chicken anymore. I said well I don't care about that right now if you would have started out with that instead of rudely telling me I'm not missing anything this conversation would be different. I spend 40 dollars for my family and you have the nerve to tell me I'm lying with out asking me to prove anything. Which I would have gladly done. This was unprofessional and sad. We complain about the youth being in fast food but this was an older white male who was going bald. So no excuse. He needs to be retrained or if he is too old to get it by now, needs to fired. Either way I'm done with this Bojangles. People like this ruin names and brands we love like this one. ....Unhappy 40 dollars...

Omg this place sucks. Please shut this place down until you hire new management and staff. I have been on several occasions and it has been complete madness. They serve lunch very late, food is not fresh many times, staff members are ghetto/ don't want to be there. One time, I arrived at 11 a.m. and they told me they were not serving food at the moment. I pulled around and three employees were smoking cigarettes just chilling. Today, I bought a chicken biscuit and it was disgusting. It was greasy and watery for some reason. I called to complain and of course no one answered. I have wrote corporate about them and still no answer. Go to another bojangles and avoid the headache that this location gives. (Three months ago)

Update Mar 22, 2023: I’m starting to see a turn around with this location. I went for breakfast and it seems as someone is actually managing this location now. Food quality has improved. Hopefully this momentum will be consistent. Workers seemed slightly more engaged and slightly friendlier. Line is moving in the drive through like normal. This is a definitely upgrade from the nightmare this place was months ago. Keep it up. The community deserves better service and food after all they have...
