Friendly Village — Attraction in Tucson

Friendly Village. A 55 and over gated mobile home park. A decent 50 or 60 yr old park in an OK area of town. Spend any amount of time there and your childhood dreams of what adulthood was going to be like will be shattered. Get a job, get married, have some kids, grow to be a wise adult, etc... There's a group of residents and management, that like to make sure that you do what they want you to do, come to the right activities, landscape your yard how they want it, blah, blah, blah. Wise? No wiser than a 16 year old. Lie, cheat or ? Whatever means necessary to get you out of "their" park.8 or 10 years ago this was a nice place. 6 to 8 people can bring a place...

there is much trouble here - manager likes to pick on the old people living here for small things, even YELLS at us sometimes. very strange I know people who want to move out because of bad manager Last year a storm damaged 'friendly village' sign on the street but the owners too cheap to fix it - and keeps raising our rent. Its been so long that the google car has already driven by and put the street photo online - see it here. we cant recommend this place to anyone. we give it zero stars. very bad situation. just wanted to warn everyone. keep looking. there are nicer places to live with friendlier managers and...

Unqualified part-time girl park manager is very RUDE and gives the elderly handicapped residents a hard time about petty things. Most residents don't like her or trust her. We're waiting for her to be replaced. New owner Silver King has refused to plan a meeting in the clubhouse with all of us to say hello and to answer any questions we have. But they did mail us a RENT INCREASE notice. Amazon Flats (Amazon Motel), a homeless shelter for drug addicts, criminals, and the mentally ill, is just across the street.
