Beautiful park with a variety of trees!

There’s a dog park that’s inside a fenced in area and several picnic tables throughout.

There are also a few covered areas, like a pavilions, that have access to electric. I believe you can reserve these ahead of time online.

There’s a couple public restrooms and there are trash cans throughout.

The crew that takes care of the park stays on top of its cleanliness and you can tell they take pride in their work.

There is also shaded parking areas and some baseball fields.

If it had a solid water feature, it would be a 5 ⭐️ park. Being from Louisville, Kentucky, I am spoiled with the beautiful parks we have back home.

All in all, I love Reid Park and go there when I can to relax and enjoy all the sounds or to people watch.

UPDATE 05/02/2022: I found the water feature! Enter Reid Park from 22nd at the entrance after the Zoo entrance. They have a shaded parking area on the left and on the right of the parking area, you will see the pond. There is a small stream that runs into the pond. There are lots of ducks and other birds present. Reminder to never feed the ducks there!

Very nice shaded areas around the pond and there are restrooms very close.

Additionally at this entrance is a Cancer memorial. Very beautiful memorial! And then next to that they have horseshoe pits inside a fenced in area.

A lot to see here at...

I arrived to find that the park was very busy at the time. However, the atmosphere was friendly and inviting. I brought a young pit-bull with me and although he was nervous at first, he could sense that the park was a safe place to be, and before anyone could know it, he was rolling on his back to get all the belly rubs that he could solicit.

There were an ample amount of playgrounds for the three children that accompanied me; with many activities to choose from.

The only thing that detracted from the visit was the bathrooms. Some of them smelled bad and others were just plain dirty. I saw park employees trying to keep up with the busyness that the park was experiencing. I think that there should be more staff available to handle busy days there.

My visit was very enjoyable and the children had played until nearly exhausted; which worked out for me in the long run because dinner, bath, and bedtime came in rapid order without any complaints. Thank you Gene C. Reid Park for a...

Favorite go to place in tucson. I could get lost in the day just watching the ducks in the water. Great for events and birthday parties. It is beyond beautiful and the park itself is well kept.

Tons of people always there it is central for all of Tucson. More crowded than most other parks.

There is many different play grounds all updated and exciting for the kids. As a parent of three small children it is very difficult to watch them all at one time since it is so large. They all go different ways and there isn’t a clear views from each structure. There is only a few Ramadas at the main play structure, they are always booked! A few benches spread without but are not enough nor comfortable. There is a bathroom not too far.

There is a rose garden next to the play ground so there is constant bees. Ooooh and a waterfall which isn’t fenced in so run away children may go swimming.

This park is for sure gauged...

Edit: Twice now, I've seen some beautiful herons here. They're fantastic, and I hope to keep seeing them. As a kid, I really liked coming here to look at the ducks, and after visiting recently, it's still great. It's a good, peaceful way to spend a weekend morning. There are tons of different kinds of ducks in the pond, and they seem congregate in two different areas. I really recommend taking kids to see them. There's something about ducks that kids love, and for me, that's turned into a lifelong love. However, as a general tip, feeding ducks bread is a bad idea. It's not good for them. Instead, try oats, corn, or peas. The ducks will love it all the same, and they'll be healthier too. As for the rest of the park, it seems well taken care of, and judging by the number of kids on the play structures at 8am, I'd guess those are pretty fun too.
