Stopped by based on a recommendation from a friend. Glad I did! I was looking for a variety of Ube items for a gift basket. I found so many items that were perfect! There's an impressive section with canned goods, pantry items, seasonings, sauces, cookies, candies, crackers, etc. at the front of the store. Refrigerators & freezers run down the walls on both sides, along with chest type freezers in the back half of the store - they were full of everything imaginable from tocino, fish, chicken, variety of meats, & Filipino ice cream! We’re so glad we found this little gem in Tucson! The place isn’t that big, but every shelf and corner is laden with all different kinds of wonderful stuff (snacks, beverages, ice cream, frozen meat & fish, bread, etc.)! I had to muster all my willpower not to go overboard with my purchases. We still ended up buying quite a few items that reminded me fondly of home. The kuya who was in charge of the grocery store was very welcoming and friendly. He even recommended a few items that we had overlooked. We promised him that we would go back to get their ube...

This store is a new addition to the area. I am fond of this because it's convenient. The saleswoman is highly knowledgeable, friendly, and sincere in handling our questions and needs. Their selection includes Asian to Filipino snacks, cooking, pastry, and cosmetics, and the prices are affordable. I found my first experience to be exceptional and I am confident that I will be coming back to the store more often to purchase Asian and Filipino groceries...
