I went in last Wednesday for a pedicure and a full set, the pedicure was great and no complaints on that part. I asked for a full set of almond shaped nails. Gaby did my full set and I was completely displeased. The nail shape she gave me was a pointy stiletto. The worst part of it all is that my nails are all crooked, some are lumpy and the acrylic is wider than my fingernail. I didn’t complain when I was there because i felt embarrassed. I did call the next day and explained to Gaby that I was not happy with my nails and I asked that they be fixed by another nail tech or remove them and give me a refund. She stated she couldn’t give me a refund and advised that she would be the one fixing my nails. I kindly turned her down and requested another nail tech fixed my nails she then responded with, “ I’m not going to let somebody else do your nails I did them so I have to fix them and that’s the policy” I disagreed with her and requested a refund. She told me she could give me half of the refund, but she would have to talk to the owner and she would call me back. I have not heard back from her, so I called her again and she told me the owner told her I had been in before and did the same thing. I had never had my nails done at their salon before And I told her that. She then told me that she would speak to the owner again, but that they were under remodeling so she didn’t think she could talk to him soon. I did let her know that it has been a week since I last called now all I want is for these nails to get taken off. Again, she responded with I will talk to the owner and call you back. Let’s see if she calls back this time. I definitely won’t be returning after this...
Read more1 Star — Worst salon experience I’ve ever had
I’ve been putting off writing this review bcuz I’ve been so stunned ! I can’t believe my experience there was so terrible. I would not recommend this place to anyone, and I will never be returning. From start to finish, the experience was terrible.
First, the staff were extremely rude and unprofessional. The salon itself was filthy — I literally saw roaches crawling on the floor. Along with their supplies that sit on the same floor. As I’m sitting waiting for my tech to finish with another client . A roach was killed right in front of me, scooped up with bare hands, and then the nail tech continued the service on that poor girl without washing their hands. That alone should’ve been my cue to walk out.
Second, I was told I wasn’t “allowed” to get regular nail polish on my pedicure because my toenails supposedly “weren’t compatible” I “needed to get the gel” — something I have never heard in my life. On top of that, even regular polish would have been an upcharge, and gel polish was $15 extra.
I came in for a mani-pedi, but when it came time for the manicure, they rushed through it, didn’t even match the polish to my toes (despite my request), and still acted like I was inconveniencing them when I asked to color match. To top it all off, they were extremely pushy about demanding a tip at the end.
Between the rudeness, the unhygienic conditions, the bizarre pricing rules, and the sloppy work, this was hands down the worst nail salon visit I have ever had. Save your money and go somewhere clean, professional,...
Read moreFirst, I give Gaby a 5 star rating. She did absolutely amazing! She is very talented and she did multiple peoples nails at once. On the other hand, my experience at this shop is very toxic. While I was there, it was very busy and behind on schedule. Amy was only doing one customer at a time and Gaby was taking multiple clients at a time and Amy was close to being finished with her client so Gaby had went to ask if she can take another client that’s been waiting for an hour and Amy said “ no I’m hungry I’m done for the day” while Gaby was asking her to take clients that been there the longest and then Amy said “no I already said I’m done I don’t care” and Gaby said “I already know you don’t care because you never do” so I’m guessing this had happened before but anyways then Amy was speaking Vietnamese very angrily and Gaby spoke up for her self and said “ if you have something to say please say it out loud so I can hear, you know I don’t understand Vietnamese” Amy said “ it’s better for you to not know or understand it now” and I stayed until later hours because Gaby was taking most of the clients so I waited for her and I had seen Amy and Ken talking to each other like if they were talking about some one and i’ll just say that Gaby deserves so much better. She does not need to be treated this way so next time I come in I better see change and communication because I will...
