Panda Express — Restaurant in Tucson

I was in the area on of Panda Express off Houghton & Old Vail Road recently on 6/26/19 so I decided to get something to eat at this particular location.

I ordered what I’ve always ordered at several other locations which is Kung Pao Chicken. As soon as I put a fork-full in my mouth, my eyes immediately watered up, my mouth was on fire, with my nose dripping non-stop from how spicy they made the dish.

One of their employees was walking around randomly asking customers how everything was going. When the employee stopped by my table. I told her that the Kung Pao Chicken was overly spicy, extremely spicy and “not even enjoyable!”

She said she was gonna get a manager; however, after more than 10 minutes a manger contacted her on the earpiece instead of coming by my table herself. The employee relayed exactly what her manager stated which was that that’s what the originally recipe calls for, it’s even made by their chef himself. The manager clearly didn’t care.

Like I mentioned above I’ve always ordered Kung Pao Chicken at the El Con location, the Wilmot/Golf Links location, Glenn & Campbell & still several other locations and “everyone’s” Kung Pao Chicken has been “tasteful & comfortably spicy!”

WARNING: DO.NOT.ORDER.KUNG.PAO.CHICKEN at the Vail location—unless you don’t mind food so SOOOOO spicy that you can’t even enjoy your dish because that particular location won’t care.

When someone orders KUNG PAO CHICKEN——Panda Express should warn their customers beforehand that their location makes it...

I am a disabled veteran. I visited the site here on Haughton. They had me waiting over 30 minutes for my order after they told me it would be 5-10 minutes. When I called in to ask about my food I was told another 4 minutes it would be out. I ended up waiting another 15 minutes. I called in again and they rudely told me it’s on its way out and hung up on me. I called back and they picked up and hung up on me again.I have a hard time walking but needed to go in for a refund. The so called manager was finally coming out with my food as I was limping inside. I told her I just wanted a refund and that she needs to train her employees better and teach them not to be rude to the customers. Well she was just as rude and asked if I wanted the food or not. When I said I just wanted a refund she took the bag and threw it in the trash and snatched my receipt and card from me and stormed off. I told her he was a disabled bet and shouldn’t be treated like that but she the manager just rolled her eyes as if she could care less. This will be reported to the vet center and hopefully this store will be red flagged as a location who not only treat’s customers badly but can care less...

This location is awful! The food is never hot, staff are not friendly. For the most part rude, store is dirty and never stocked. I was the only one in line and it took the young lady over 15 minutes to acknowledge I was standing there. She took my order and said you will have to wait for more too be cooked or eat something we have precooked. I decided to wait, 33 minutes later this young lady served 7 other guest as I patiently waited to see how long it would take to finish helping me. After an hour of waitting in this dirty establishment being treated rudely and ignored, I asked for the manager.... The young woman disappeared for almost 10 minutes, the manager came out and very abruptly tossed food into a container placed it in a bag and said here you go.... I told him I No longer wanted the food just my money back. He said why!? So I explained everything, he replied " you no like food fine I make fresh" I told him no thank you I have already waited over an hour. He said we busy. After 10 minutes he finally gave me my money back. I will never go to this...
