I took a few days to compile my thoughts before writing this reviews, but feel my experience is necessary to share. I took my child to TRAK for summer camp the week of July 21-25. He was beyond excited and we chose a date later in the Summer so he could do it right before returning to school so all the memories would be fresh to share with his friends and classmates. Upon picking him up from camp on July 21st, he expressed to me there was a bully there. Now, I asked clarifying questions because I am not a fan of classifying someone a "bully". He stated that there was a child who was asking him to tell him jokes, and before he could finish was telling my son he wasn't funny. This child was also making gestures with his hand in a fist as to pretend punch my child in the face and was also throwing craft equipment at my child. I expressed to my son to just ignore him and sit elsewhere the following day. I did call TRAK and let them know I had concerns and to please keep an eye out for these interactions, as my child did notify me that no camp counselors were watching. They did let me know that this particular child had shown some problematic behavior in the past and they would keep an eye out. Fast forward to the next day. I pick my child up. He's sullen and doesn't wanna talk. Wouldn't give me any details on his day and then became frustrated when I wouldn't drop it and asked if there were issues with this particular child again. Tears started rolling down his face and he said the child had scratched his arm with a rock and asked my son "did it hurt" and when my son grabbed his arm he did it again. This child also punched my son in the arm and continued with his "pretend" punching of my childs face. Now at this point I had had enough. I called the staff, explained everything, and their solution was..... to separate my child and put him in another group and have a camp counselor follow him around. Now this makes no sense. Why would his day be changed and this child, who was known to cause issues, be allowed to continue with his current routine? They also told me my son sat next to this child to which I explained that his sitting placement didn't negate the fact he had physical abuse occur to him. He is the youngest camper there, of course he sat next to someone who gave him non stop attention, even if it was violent and negative. They truly acted like I was complaining about them forgetting my fries at a McDonald order. It was not taken seriously and when I told them my son would not be returning they said no problem I'll send a refund. Zero concern to be honest. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who has children unless they are there to supervise them themselves. My child now had no remaining camp and a sad...

Read moreMy granddaughter has a deep passion for horses since she was the age of 2! She has been struggling with some behavioral issues and we had been trying to work through them. School was finally out and we decided to send her to camp last summer and only one week there changed her completely and saw significant improvements with her behavior. It was a complete turnaround for the better. So she ended up going a 2nd week during the summer then again during Christmas break. She has continued to talk about TRAK and the horses she got to spend time with, Boone is one of her favorite horses she often still talks about. I can’t express how TRAK has made an impact on my granddaughters life. The staff was very professional, helpful, knowledgeable and couldn’t ask for a better place to send my granddaughter to. Thank you and appreciate all you do with the...
