I looked at 3 other places for a couch, and I finally went into farmers. I walked around and found one I loved. They had a sale going on, and i asked the manager if the couch was part of the sale. He had to call another store and ended up giving me a discount. I asked if I could leave it until I found someone to come and get it, and then I said I could rent a uhaul because I live close by. He looked at me and said, "If you decide to purchase it, I will deliver it to you." I purchased it, and they delivered it. He was so nice and helpful. Everyone who assisted was nice and helpful. The lady who cashed me out was nice, even though the computer had been giving her issues all day. The guy in the showroom who assisted the manager loading and delivering my couch was nice. The manager, who was new to the store, went above and beyond. I recommend Farmers Home Furniture. They really treat you like they appreciate you for stopping in. We signed a paper when we first got the items giving permission for them to automatically take their payment out monthly. We assumed they had been doing it because he had receipts showing where payments were coming out. Then they apparently changed managers and everything went downhill. They keep taking payments out but tell us they aren’t and trying to charge high late fees. They have changed management there at least 3 times that I know of and every time a new manager starts, they start calling us over and over claiming we’re months behind. They are saying there’s no paper for customers to sign giving permission for auto payments even though we signed one TWICE.
