Spur of the moment trip thinking that I would just run in to lay eyes on a tree topper I may want for our tree, as I usually just order everything online but literally the absolute BEST customer experience I have ever had! I felt like I was a kid again and I was being helped by the owner of the store who was so proud of what she had accomplished. The two ladies were so kind and I was immediately asked if they could assist me with anything, I declined. I found what I came to look at but wasn’t as impressed as what I thought I would be and then I saw exactly what I did not know I needed! They were quick to assist me even though I had initially sent them away. She immediately handled getting it from the back and explaining to me that it was separate from the tree. I quickly found additional items which she quickly took behind the counter so I could continue shopping with out interruption all while they were assisting other, thanking customers for their service (Veterans), engaging them in meaningful conversation and really getting to know their customers. Additionally, they were explaining products and making recommendations based on customers needs. I truly thought I had been transported to a Hallmark Christmas movie! Read moreProbably a great experience if you’re the one customer the employees can deal with at time. I walked in, found the ornament I was looking for, and went straight to the register. I then stood there for a solid 10 minutes waiting to check out after being acknowledged by the employee. She went to the back, found something for another customer, brought it up to the counter where I had been waiting and called the customer over from another part of the store. She then took the merchandise out of the packaging and showed the lady how to put it together and began ringing up her items. I put the ornament back on the shelf and left once the employee had the customer start filling out some form for the Hallmark club and began slowly typing her info into the computer. Read moreWorst Customer service I have ever experienced at a Hallmark store. I was going to purchase a Millennium Falcon Star Wars ornament. They only had the display and the manager refused to get the box. We tried to work with her and even thought we would get someone to pick it up, but we are leaving after visiting some friends and flying back to Tennessee. The manager wouldn’t budge, she would not get the box and I didn’t want to carry it on the plane to have it busted up. We got a refund. I called corporate and spoke to customer service and they tried to intervene...but the customer service person told me that when she called the store...the manager hung up on her and she will be sending up the next level of their corporate offices to address their professionalism.
