Paulus Farm Market FarmPark in Mechanicsburg isnât just a destination for our familyâitâs a second home, the kind where you leave with happy hearts, full bellies, and just the right amount of farm dirt to feel like youâre winning at parenting.
Weâve done everything Paulus has to offer. From Easter egg hunts to Mud Days (yes, itâs as gloriously messy as it sounds), from summer camps to simple playdates surrounded by chickens and goats. Every single time, we leave feeling like the farm has worked its magic again.
Letâs talk about the owner, Amy. Sheâs not just the friendly face behind this wonderful operationâsheâs practically family. Sheâs known most of my kids since birth and always greets us with the kind of warmth that makes you feel like you belong. Her team is equally incredible, especially in how theyâve accommodated my special-needs son. They meet him where heâs at, every time, ensuring that he gets to fully experience and enjoy the farm alongside his siblings.
And letâs talk about the magic of the farm itself. Somehow, it manages to meet the wildly different needs of everyone in my crew:
The baby: Absorbing every sight, sound, and smell, like a sponge in overalls. Sheâs learning so much about her environment it feels like a science lesson and a storybook come to life. The megalomaniac 5-year-old: He gets to burn energy, rule the sandbox kingdom, and engage in the kind of hard, joyful play that keeps him out like a light at bedtime. The tween scientist: Heâs fascinated by the science of agriculture and the sheer engineering brilliance that keeps a farm running smoothly. Heâs like a mini farmer-in-training, asking questions I donât even understand. The animal lovers: Donât even get me started. Between the goats, chickens, pigs, and every other furry or feathery resident, this is basically their dreamland. The best part? It all happens in a space where everyone can breathe. Whether weâre chasing kids through the play areas, marveling at how many eggs a chicken lays in a week, or just soaking in the peacefulness of farm life, Paulus FarmPark is a place where we connect, grow, and just be.
Itâs truly one of our favorite destinations in the areaâand trust me, weâve been everywhere. If you havenât visited yet, what are you waiting for? Bring your kids, your sense of adventure, and maybe a spare change of clothes for all that glorious farm...
Read moreThis was our 1st time here. It's a charming little market but their available products & service go beyond what's in their market. We bought fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, some spicy cheese, and a homemade, yummy pineapple casserole that you pop in the oven 40 minutes and vala, it's ready to eat! It was the first time we've heard of this dish but it was absolutely delicious and I would highly recommend it. We will be going back again specifically for that pineapple casserole! Some of the employees were extremely knowledgeable about the products how they were made, if they weren't made there on their grounds where they were made, and even made suggestions on what foods to pair with what you were buying such as the pineapple casserole dish they had informed that it goes great with a salty entree such as ham for example. Although I'm a vegan and we did not pair meat with it we still enjoyed it very much so just as a dessert! The reason for the four-star rating rather than five stars, is because we specifically stopped there with the hope of purchasing fresh eggplant to make eggplant parmesan, but we weren't pleased with the selection of eggplant that they did have ! However, as I mentioned earlier this was our first time there and maybe this just happened to be the day that they were scheduled to stock their shelves with fresh goods or this or that I'm not sure but that was the only part of our shopping experience we weren't extremely pleased with. I'd highly recommend this place if you like locally grown and sold fresh produce as well as Jarred Goods such as jams fruits pickled items etc. Oh and they have an outdoor ice cream stand behind the market where they make their own ice cream , as well as a petting zoo if I...

First, we walk in, itâs okay, we look around... Look at the prices and hot damn! We can get more at target for less then what we got! We got blackberries, blueberries & a watermelon.
25/30$ for all of it. Went to Walmart & for that all for 13$!
But first, let me explain why Walmart is better then this place! Our blue berries were smushed, & gross. Not good at all, tasty disgusting. I glanced at the other ones and they were also smushed, but only some of the nice blueberries were on top, Iâm sure to sell it faster. The blackberries were molded. Nice ones on time, then the rest were molded to the core, disgusting. I have a kid & im pregnant, are you kidding me? If you know theyâre molded donât sell them. Also my husband checked out the other blackberries and they were also molded, but we thought we got a good batch, we were WRONG. Last thing is the watermelon! It was suppose to be seedless, nope black seeds ALL in it, I got over that, thought maybe it would taste good? Nope. Taste like dirt, my husband loves watermelon & he couldnât even swallow it. Everything, I mean EVERYTHING was overpriced especially for molded, smushed & disgusting foods. When we were there, there was sooooo much stuff that was very old, & rotten. I was so excited to go here until I realized I can get so much more, and much more fresh at other places.
Please try to get fresh fruits out & check your fruits, maybe lower your prices if you continue to put out rotten,...
