My only daughter’s wedding. What will I remember?
It's not how beautiful she looked in the dress. Although she did. It's not how polite the groom treated my wife and I. Although he did. It's not the hospitality of the groom's family. They were very gracious.
It's the two hours they "gave" my daughter to decorate before her ceremony that will leave a burning bitterness in my memory of the entire ceremony.
Forget the fact I'm a professional balloon decorator and know how to work with elite venues.
I can't imagine how anyone can get to the site, unload the car, make everything beautiful, take everything back to the car, clean up from being all sweaty, and still manage to look ready to walk down the aisle. For anyone to think two hours is enough time shows how little this venue knows events. To suggest an extra two hours makes any difference is laughable.
I was told two weeks before the event they would work with us. Two days before “the day” I was told they had triple booked the day of my daughter's wedding. Come to find out there were two other couples doing a "walk thru" and they didn't want our decorations "spoiling" their venue.
We didn't ask for much space and the idea a 2,000+ square foot building doesn't have any available space to pre- set-up is hard to believe. After I finally got into the site, I found several areas that would have been out of the way and wouldn't interfere with the walk-thru. Even after the wedding was over and we were cleaning up, the owner was still clueless of all the unnecessary headaches she caused. Very unfortunate. Very unprofessional.
Had this happened to one of my clients instead of my daughter, I would have refunded all the money, decorated for free and begged for mercy.
After the fact, I found out they had also sold my daughter's original day away from her after she paid the deposit. Very uncoordinated.
The owner was very likable and courteous. The facility might have been appropriate for the price. The memories that will last aren’t the ones...
Read moreWe got married in our hometown and had our reception at Le Venue. I have been here before for my Senior prom many years ago and i forgot just how simply beautiful the area is. Working with Eric was a dream, he was always professional and on time which is a huge thing for me. We met with Eric a few time and he was always willing to answer any of my silly questions.
The day before decorating was a breeze, Eric and Keith had all the tables set up and ready for us all we had to do was decorate. The day of was even easier for my vendors and my family who had to get in to do last minute set up! Perfect size or the 180 people we had. Loved having the kitchen and the little side bar area!
The venue was always clean when we went in to do layout or just double check something, and the price is perfect for a low budget wedding. We had an absolute amazing wedding day and the reception was beautiful!
Thank you...
Read moreWe recently had an anniversary party at LeVenue and the entire experience was wonderful. The owners are incredible to work with, very friendly and accommodating (including the next door church leader). We had to change venues after already sending out invitations and thankfully there was welcomed availability. We had around 120 people that were sat comfortably at round tables (provided by facility) with space to move around. We also had a DJ and space for a dance floor. The parking was safe, unattended, but still not anything to be concerned with at all. We thankfully were allowed to set up the night prior to our event and I assume this is allowed according to availability. The price is reasonable compared to what is available close to Wichita. For the event we had it worked perfectly! I would absolutely recommend this facility to anyone...
