I've had to call and complain for forgotten items in orders, drive back to the business to fulfill order mistakes etc. Besides the usual "fast food issues" tonight was it for us. Ordered 5 chicken strip sandwiches with cheese, hot pretzel (even asked for cheese, even though cheese is part of the order for dipping the flipping pretzel in), 1 large order of Onion rings, and a small cup of vanilla ice cream for my service dog. Took 25 minutes to get order out and they had 4 cars in stalls, and 3 in drivethru....apparently, this means a 25 minute wait and them being busy...lol. Again, being Naive local small town customers, we didn't check order until we arrived home. No large order of onion rings, no flipping dipping cheese for pretzel, and the sandwiches were unedible....there was a "Metal" taste to the sandwiches. We were unable to figure out if it was the buns, chicken, or mixture of mayo and lettuce....we couldn't figure it out, so we tossed them. We have been through this same situation in the past and after some time, come back and tried our luck again. Teenagers right? Welp, this Casino doesn't pay out. I used to think it was just young teens making mistakes, but now understand this is a Management and training issue. I've worked in the restaurant industry as my family owned numerous restaurants all over Kansas, and this is by far the worst I've ever come across. We try and support local, but their incompetence makes it impossible. We will drive into Wichita from now on. It's sad when Tequilas can cook an entire sit down meal for 8 and have it to you in less time than our Sonic. I've had 2 kids go through VCHS and both have told me, the problem with Sonic here is the Owner/Manager. And that's coming from his own young...
Read moreUsed the app, they got my order wrong, and fries tasted old. (Like sat in warmer for 2 hours old. ) Let them know my order was wrong. They went ahead and "Fixed it" by bring me a new sandwich (which this one was correct and fresh) but the fries still tasted old. (Just not as old like maybe 30 minutes old. ) Took forever to answer the box. The person who brought me the my new food said sorry, but honestly sounded like they could care less. I normally don't complain about this sorta thing, but honestly, every time I've ever gone to this sonic or anytime my Dad or brother go they forget sauce or food, they screw up the order, they take forever to answer. I used to work at a sonic, and my mom was an assistant manager of one for 11 years. Its not supposed to take that long to answer the box. Like especially when its the time of year to be grinding for those good scores for the sonic games. I just have higher standards for what i know a sonic could be i guess. Read moreIt never fails. EVERY TIME I come here no matter how I order (online or in person), I always wait 30-45 minutes for my order and then have to call THEM back to REMIND them that I’m here. And I wouldn’t blame them if it was a big order but a kids meal and route 44 drink almost every time takes nearly half an hour or more? After this last time, I’m not returning. After I called them back twice and waited over 45 minutes I just left without the order I already paid for. Just too much of a hassle for kids who aren’t trained right and who knows if they’re correctly staffed. Had two girls come up to me asking if this was my order (it wasn’t) and then proceeded to go stall to stall asking what number the stall is on their screens… I can’t wait over 45 minutes with small kids in my car wanting to go home and...
