Cleveland Armory — Attraction in Valley View

Cleveland Armory provides very poor service. They advertise gun-smithing work and can fix guns, especially AR15 style. I dropped off a Bushmaster AR15 that was having some jamming problems. They said they would clean it and test fire it in the next 2 days to determine what was wrong with it. They are completely disconnected from the outside world, they do not answer the phone, voicemail is full, and they do not answer email or questions directly from their website. They don’t respond to Facebook messages or any other form of communication. There is no way to contact them except to drive there. Thirteen (13) days go by and I haven’t heard from them at all. After trying 25 times to call and 4 emails that morning I drove there to see what was going on. There were 3 guys behind the counter and 3 customers were being waited on so I waited my turn. When I asked about my carbine they said they were planning on test firing it later today. Thirteen days and they had done nothing. They said that they were short staffed and busy with new customers. I was a new customer 13 days ago, what happened to me? I had been in line for 13 days and they did nothing but were happy to keep taking more new customers before helping the existing customers. This review is from Ray Smosarski: I handed him a k98 mauser to put a new barrel on and provided him with the 2nd barrel. This was March 28 ,three weeks later I called to see if it was done and he said he was unable to do it because he did not have a head space gauge for 8mm. I had a field gauge for 8mm so I took it to him. Then I called about a month later and he said he couldn't do it because he didn't have a barrel vise but was trying to get one. Again, another month went by and I went to his store and talked to him and he stated he was having a machinist make him a barrel vise and would keep me informed. I did not hear from him and when i started to call there was no answer and the memory on his machine was full. Finally, I went to the store to get my rifle back and when he gave it to me it was completely disassembled. I took it home and will put it back together myself. He did not charge me. All I have to say is hands down to the complete staff Jason and the owner ( I do so apologize I didn't get your name) and even the extra help we received from Andy and even the good looking dog behind the counter keeping the whole place safe! The guys there treated us with respect and explained everything to us in layman's terms so that we knew EVERYTHING we needed to know about our first firearm purchase! They are NOT like the other firearms dealers that won't even talk to you when you walk in the door or just treat you like a number!The Staff at Cleveland Armory have a strong passion for what they do and show it to you from the time you walk through the door until the time you leave regardless of if you purchase a firearm or not!
