Penn Station East Coast Subs — Restaurant in Garfield Heights

Despite the bad reviews, I usually do not have a problem at this location. However last week they messed up my son’s sandwich so the manager called us back inside to fix it as the young kids said they made it incorrect. I thought that was real nice of him. I got home and realized MY sandwich was the plain one and they messed up mine. Therefore manager offered a remake. I went today to get a new sandwich. The GM made my sandwich this time, although he seemed annoyed that he was remaking something for me and wasn’t concerned about WHY I had a remake. I feel like as the GM, he should be trying to please his customers. The first half was SO good that I continued to eat the second half despite being full. Then my enjoyment immediately turned into disgust when I found a long piece of tape in my mouth after taking a bite. I called the location just to let them know. I do not want a remake. I will not return there but they need to pay...

Let me share my #pennstation rant. Over a week ago I experienced penn station subs for the FIRST time. My coworker and I ordered an hour ahead for lunch since she was on crutches. When getting there our order wasn't ready and we waited over 25 minuets for food. People coming in after us were leaving before us. Eventually we learned we were waiting on fries the whole time and they gave us a free meal card for waiting. By the time we got back to work & ate, the subs were almost an hour old and the cold bread peeled off with the paper. Fries were good though. Since this location cant handle my food I took my meal card to the location near my house which would not accept it because they are franchised. So I have to try a 3rd time to get my food? #pennstation this is unacceptable to take 3 tries to get a meal. Franchise or not, no one will get my business...

My husband and I waited 20 mins for our food, while the music was blasting and no updates. We got in the car, and the fries were underdone. A mushy pile of grease soaked fries. They added a chicken bacon wrap that I didn't order (I didn't order anything that would sound even remotely similar. Most likely because the music was so loud she couldn't hear my order). I didn't want to go in to get my money back for this unordered wrap because I knew it would be another 30 min wait, and she didn't give me a receipt. I knew it would be a hassle. It wasn't worth it at that point. I should have said something when she said the total. I thought $29.00 for a cheesebread, fries, and a small terakyi sub was a lot... anyway .. the 2 people working there were not unpleasant by any means. You can just tell they did not want to be...
