Cipher Solver Escape Games — Attraction in Vancouver

I had to clic one star even if this place don’t deserve it. The manager and the employees don’t have any customer service skills the employees gives you one information and then the manager gives you a different information I booked a room for my daughter’s birthday party I missed the option to book the room for the party then I realized and I called again spoke with the manager she told me I will be able to do it she never mentioned That I have to do it 48 hours before the party I Called 5 days before the day of the party spoke with one of her employees his name is Hunter so watch out when this guy answers the phone because he doesn’t know anything about the policy of that place he gives you a wrong information and then the manager support him looks like she doesn’t how to deal with customers she just take the money because this place is over priced after they told me they will be able to rent a room for my daughter birthday party at the last minute she said she won’t she didn’t care about my kid feelings. Beside that the room was gross 🤮 dust everywhere, and bad smell so definitely no recommend this gross place is not appropriate not even...

Unfortunately we were all quite disappointed in this escape room. This being my 4th room I figured it would compare to past games but was disappointed to find out it was not at all comparable. I’ve included some examples to provide feedback for the owners (I hope).

No combo locks had hash marks to give you an orientation on the codes.

Clues were extremely difficult to hear. We had to open the door after every clue to get clarification.

We were able to advance on accident which completely screwed up the flow, and therefore messed up the game host for guidance.

The game we played had far too many puzzles that were almost impossible to solve for the time provided. I don’t want to sound like a sore loser but after the hour was up I was shocked at how many more puzzles there were to solve considering how far we progressed.

RUN, don’t walk, to this local escape room experience! My family and I had an AMAZING time at Cipher Solver Escape Games! We did the arcade themed room with 8 adults (one of whom is autistic) and 1 toddler (who was a bit too young to be really into it) for my sister’s birthday — it was an absolute blast. The owner is super friendly, the onboarding is smooth, and the puzzles inside the escape room were really fun. There was something for everyone in terms of puzzle types, so everyone felt like they got a win — which is a big deal for people like my brother who have special needs and don’t always get to feel successful. We will be making this a family tradition when we’re all together. Couldn’t recommend the experience more!
