7-Eleven — Local services in Vancouver

This location is close to my apartment me and my family have visited this location often over the years. The treatment of myself and my family at this location tonight was terrible. My Husband and I were out for a walk tonight with our 2 children and decided to stop at get a drink as a little treat. My husband was carrying our daughter in a carrier and I was carrying my diaper bag on my back. We entered & went to the back of the store to the slurpee machine when an employee told me to remove my back pack & take it up front & leave it on the counter. I refused explaining that it was my diaper bag and my wallet and other personal property was inside. A different employee stated that it was store policy that no bags were allowed in the store. I told her that there was no sign posted and again refused to give up my bag. I asked for the store managers phone number and the employee that I was talking to claimed that she was the store owner. She said that there was a sign on the door. The door in question was propped open is such a way that there was no way that I could have seen the sign in question upon entering the store. I told her that telling me to surrender my personal property was the same as accusing me of stealing and that it was not acceptable and that I would be putting a complaint in with their corporate offices. She began yelling at me that it was a franchise location and that they could set their own rules and that my complaint would do nothing. She continued to yell and argue with me. When I told her that I have worked in customer service for almost 20 years and had never been asked to surrender my bag or been treated so poorly she said that she didn't care. When I stated that her treating me this way in front of my children & husband was not acceptable she again stated that she didn't care. As I was leaving I pointed out that there was no way I could have read the sign they had posted on the door. I will not be coming back to this location. If they value their customers and reputation they need to make major adjustments to how they treat people. And I did file a complaint with their...

The employees have always been super nice&the store is clean. Only thing that kinda bummed me out was trying to call repeatedly&never getting an answer. Probably just busy but I wish they'd answer! Oh&I just realized I accidentally used my daughter's profile to post this.oops! Omg I am still trying to get an answer on the phone&find it hard to believe they're so busy every second that they can't take a quick call!I know I'm totally sounding like a"Karen"but I'm actually kinda hoping if they read their reviews that maybe they'll answer their phone! I even called a different location just to see if maybe this one was closed for some reason&the guy said something like"yeah you should probably just go in when the manager is there if you have a question".like 1st how do I know when the manager will be there&what if I'm unable to go in person?clearly I'm making a mountain out of a molehill lol but plz answer...

Wow, I will never order anything from here ever again.

Anytime I order ice cream, they blindly substitute it with the same frozen block of ice on top of the lid strawberry and banana ice cream. Now if you like that flavor, great, but when my order consists of chocolate and other standard flavors, I wouldn't put such an odd flavor like that instead of chocolate.

They have done this 2 times before and given strawberry banana and both times the pint is covered in about a half inch of solid ice on top of the lid.

I think they are trying to get rid of old not popular inventory.

I tried to call multiple times to understand why this is happening and no one ever picks up the phone.

Don't waste your time or money here in person or ordering delivery. 👎
