American Mattress Family — Attraction in Ventura

Since moving to Ventura five years ago I think we’ve bought three or four mattresses from the store. Let me tell you my experience from all of those. Every time that I’ve walked into the store they’ve always been very friendly. The staff is super kind and greet you upon entry. I found that this location is not trying to be a salesman for you but they actually listen to what you want and try to help you find something that fits your sleep style, your comfort level, and your budget. My last purchase there was a king size mattress for my wife and I. Justin helped us out and he was super helpful. He even worked with us on the delivery day because we were leaving town and so we were able to get it when we returned after our vacation. Bought a queen size mattress from here just a month ago if even that. Bed was delivered while I was working and the girlfriend was home. The box spring had been ripped on the top where the mattress sits so wasn't a super big issue at the time since the mattress covered it. Well today we are moving and as I go to move the mattress I notice a sticker that states second hand use mattress. Now this highly upsets me as we paid over $300 under the impression this was a brand new mattress. Unfortunately I can't find the receipt so I can't do much at this point but this is just a warning to future customers to watch what they bring you. Travis made mattress shopping fun! I used to think of it as being as much fun as a trip to a used car sales lot. So the last time I bought a mattress, I avoided stores and got a Casper bed online, which was a mistake- it became so uncomfortable after the trial period. So i decided to give a mattress store another chance after multiple friends referred me here. I’m glad I went. Travis changes the game! He is caring about your budget and getting you into the right mattress for your body’s needs. He knows his stuff.
