Read moreI love Fabrictown USA! During the pandemic, I started back into sewing by sewing scrub caps for my ICU team at the hospital. The owner Tracy selected fabrics based on my description of what I would like. She shot me texts of the fabrics and I could pick what I loved! So sweet!! She even drove the fabrics to my house during those early COVID days when everything was closed. From then on I grew to once again love the sewing shop I frequented in the 70s and 80s. Hence forth I grew my craft and began once again sewing garments. Thank you Fabrictown!! They have a wonderful selection of fabrics and notions as well as great sales!! The service personnel are wonderful! I love to come in and bring my makes to show them! And they are so friendly! They also have a great pattern sale going on and can find some for 3$!! On Monday and Tuesday the sewing machine mechanic comes in and services machines -also sharpens scissors. All extremely reasonably priced. I have revered several friends to him as he keeps my amazing Pfaff 1222 E in running condition ! There is a reason Fabrictown still exists after being open 20 year and COVID. It is...
I have loved this store for many years. I stopped in today around 1:00 and saw 3 salespeople and 1 other customer.

I told her I would be using spray fabric adhesive instead of sewing it. She said my upholstery person would need to tell me the yardage and that the spray adhesive was temporary and wouldn't work. FYI, I've used it many times for various projects and it does work and it happens to be one of Martha Stewart’s go to products.
When I turned to leave she and her coworker were laughing.
Bottom line: the salesperson was down right rude and I left the store feeling...
Read moreHands down the ONLY fabric store in Ventura County. This family knows this industry and follows the trends as well as appreciates the nostalgic. The family and employees know exactly what they are doing. The community involvement they do for all, young and old. I made my daughter’s baby blanket from their fabric 25 yrs ago. I wish I had a picture, (I’ll update). They were beyond helpful then and now. The family cares for their patrons! They will go above and beyond to ensure they have what you need and assist with questions when asked. The owners were raised in the 50’s, they keep the treatment of customers just as if it was 1950. Amazing store, people /...
