Experience was well worth our trip. We went to Levin Furniture but didn't really see what we were looking for in a sectional & chair. We were handed Brent as our salesman and I will admit I was a little apprehensive at first. He really doesn't look the part of a "salesman". But in the end, I really think that helped him. He wasn't "giving us a sales routine". He was honest and helpful and even showed us a sectional that was materially cheaper than the one we first looked at. That told me that he wasn't interested in just selling us a piece of furniture to get a better commission. He wanted to make sure we knew all our options and would be happy with our decision. I like that a lot. He told us that he came from the back room or stock room and I liked that as well. A regular guy. Not a "slick salesman". And since he came from the back/stock room, he knew his furniture. We ended up going with the higher priced sectional and we think we'll be very happy with...
Read moreWent to Dewey's furniture in Vermilion to look for end tables. They have such a great selection to chose from that we had trouble on where to start. Dee was so helpful and patient with us as we walked around, and often times going back to compare different models and styles. She told us what to look for in quality and was able to get us a set in our price range. In fact, Dee was so helpful, we told her that we were also interested in bar stools and she showed us around the store again. She even helped us browse through the online catalog they have at Dewey's, so we ended up getting a set of stools too. Finally, we joked around about getting an armchair, and she ended up taking the time to go through what chairs were on sale. We found a chair that was on sale and she even showed us fabric swatches in order for us to pick a different color, in order to tie or living room together. Dee was so helpful and courteous, that we will be a return...
Read moreFor starters I love this place's commercials. The most comfortable man on Earth... hilarious! That guy must have a good sense of humor. I'd love to have met him. Those commercials hands down brought me to this store. The customer service was good. The prices however... made my head spin. I could buy a whole living room set at Value City Furniture(Sandusky) for the price of a single piece here. Their showroom felt like maybe a fifth of what you'll see at VCF. Not a bad place, feel bad saying it but VCF in Sandusky leaves everyone else in the dust with selection and price. I found two items that met my needs at Dewey's... at VCF we found 10-15 that met our needs. It was almost too much at VCF, making the decision difficult. That's just the huge distinction of selection between the two. Just an honest review from my perspective. Not bad, but... At the end of the day I made my purchase at VCF. Only reason I made this review is because Google...
