**Not Covid Safe and Absolutely Tiny Incredibly small regarding vendors and not worth a drive unless you are going for something specific that you know you can only find there. Definitely not worth it just to check out/explore. Downtown Ft Pierce has one going on at the same time just 20 minutes down the road (every Saturday as well) and it's 15x the size in vendors. Masks are required at this location (as stated on the Vero website) but not enforced in any way upon arrival. Social distancing is non-existent. Not only are the walkways tiny between booths but they are allowing people to line up (and they are) on top of one another. Downtown Ft Pierce has security not only enforcing masks but temperature testing as well.

Every Saturday I go here at 11am. (If im not working). I get farm fresh eggs, baked fresh goods, wonderful iced coffee, and anything grown locally! Local artist and crafts, hand made soaps, pottery and ordimental gifts. Local outdoor potted plants available for purchase. Lots of dogs and water bowls. Bring a cooler and your recycled bags!

I've read the other reviews and am a little perplexed when comparing the Vero Beach Farmers Market with those in Fort Pierce, Stuart or even Fort Lauderdale. To visit a particular place or establishment and rate it down in comparison to others is unfair. This is the Vero Beach Farmers Market - not the Fort Pierce, Stuart or Fort Lauderdale Farmers Market.

I've had an opportunity to visit a number of Farmers Markets throughout the country and have found the one in Vero Beach to be small, quaint and local to those they serve. Across from Humiston Park on Ocean Drive, this market is open early (according to Vero Beach standards) on a Saturday morning. With a slight breeze from the Atlantic Ocean, it never seems to get "too hot" for those visiting the various vendors.

Local food - seafood, fresh bread and pastries, fruit, vegetables, honey, coffee, along with other healthy drinks - and even homemade dog biscuits are available. And yes, the Farmers Market is dog friendly. Young's Market and Rhonda's Seafood appear particularly popular as they always seem to have customers surrounding their stand. On my most recent visit, I enjoyed a cup of mushroom infused coffee.

Locally grown plants and crafts are available from various vendors. Tastefully displayed, the farmers market is not a flea market. It's not stuffed with garbage.

For those visiting the Vero Beach area, this is also a wonderful opportunity to check out the unique beachside shopping district and restaurants within walking distance of the farmers market. Plenty of street parking and restrooms available at Humiston Park.

I debated whether to rate the Vero Beach Farmer's Market 4 or 5 stars. Definitely worth a strong 4 plus stars, I rated them up a bit based upon the friendly atmosphere and seamless way the market is run. No apparent problems or issues - all the pieces seems to fit perfectly.

Ah how I look forward to Saturday mornings! Nothing in town compares to the selection of fresh, organic produce or delicious home baked goods found here. Not to mention the joy of supporting local entrepreneurs. You can find a little bit of everything here- local honey (excellent for those with allergies), fresh fish and shellfish, delicious artisan cheeses, even beautiful flowers and plants designed to thrive in our subtropical climate. And this just scratches the surface of what can be found here. Even if you're not in need of anything, just wandering about listening to the live music and watching the people (and their dogs) is great entertainment unto itself. They close up around noon so make sure you don't snooze in...
