After my last cancer infusion in May 2023, I found myself needing a trim. With new medication causing frequent hot flashes, my hair had grown too long, and I needed someone skilled in short haircuts. I spent a lot of time searching and calling various salons, but the responses were disappointing. Some places didn’t return calls, and others didn’t seem to understand my needs.

Then, I found The Hair Boutique. I was lucky enough to get an appointment with Sandy, and what a relief that was! Sandy’s salon was incredibly inviting and comfortable, which immediately put me at ease. Although she had a 6pm appointment that canceled, she made sure to fit me in after learning about my situation as a cancer survivor.

Sandy was not only professional but also kind and empathetic. She listened carefully to what I needed and did an exceptional job on my hair. Finding a hairdresser who is both skilled and caring can be challenging, especially after going through cancer treatment, but Sandy proved to be exactly that.
