Tucked away in the heart of Virginia Beach is La Oficina Steakhouse & Cantina- it is a Brazilian gem that offers more than just a mealâitâs a celebration of flavors that will leave your taste buds dancing. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and genuine smiles, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience.
The ambiance is inviting, with vibrant dĂ©cor that hints at the lively culture of Brazil. But itâs the food that truly steals the show. The menu is a masterclass in Brazilian cuisine, with each dish showcasing the rich diversity of flavors the country is known for.
All the foods were hearty and bursting with flavor, while the picanha, cooked to perfection, was so tender it practically melted in my mouth.
Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented, but it was the service that elevated the experience to another level. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely passionate about ensuring we had a great time. Valeria our server was exceptional! They made us feel like family, and thatâs a rare and wonderful thing.
By the time dessert rolled aroundâa delightful crĂšme brĂ»lĂ©e that was just the right amount of sweetâI was completely blown away. La Oficina Steakhouse & Cantina isnât just a place to eat; itâs a place to savor, to linger, and to return to again and again.
Whether youâre a fan of Brazilian cuisine or a curious foodie looking for your next great meal, La Oficina Steakhouse & Cantina is a must-visit. With incredible food and service that makes you feel at home, itâs a dining experience thatâs nothing short of...
Read moreMy husband and I ate here last night and it was great! I'd seen a few reviews and drove by, but couldn't find a lot of information. We hadn't been yet, because what I did see made it look like a semi-dressy vibe. Last night we really wanted steak and didn't want to go far, decided to go inside anyway. To our pleasant surprise, we felt perfectly fine bring dressed casually. The vibe is more... deep Texas saloon-ish. A few people came in dressed up, but most were casual.
The food was all amazing! Being a Chef and in the industry, I'm very critical when I go out to eat. My husband was shocked that I loved everything đ . The picahna was cooked perfectly and the garlic flavor was delicious. The portion was huge! There were 7 slices on the board with two big sides for $59! After appetizers and salad, my husband and I ate only 3 between us and took the rest home. The mussels were great, bread to do in the broth fantastic. The caesar salad was perfect. The risotto was delicious, so we're the shrimp. The creme brulee was great! We went on Sunday, and there we're half priced bottles of wine. I got a Spanish red, ended up being $12. For $140 total, we could have easily fed 4 people.
The only draw back was that the food came too fast. The steak and sides arrived at our table almost immediately after the salad, which arrived almost immediately after the mussels. By the time we were ready to eat the main course the shrimp were cold and the steak and risotto starting to get cold. I chalked this up to them being new.
I look forward to going back and live that it's so...
