Marshview Dog Park — Attraction in Virginia Beach

Needs the areas designated by size. Four areas. Awesome BUT there's no signage such as this one is designated for small dogs, this one for large, this one for all sizes, and this one for timid or for a training session. So, we show up and all four pens have a single dog in each. All four dogs were aggressive. Tried to socialize with one and mine got bit immediately. Two others said their dogs were not friendly. The fourth area has a large male pitbull barking in what was not a friendly manner. Portapotty on site. Water. Shade. Mixed grass and mud. There are fighter jets generally flying overhead (training). This means the dogs cannot hear the commands you give them because the planes are so loud. Trails (paved/accessible and dirt). Don't know why someone on the reviews said it's private - I didn't see anything that...

Not to bad of a dog. One of the better ones in this town. Four different fenced dog areas. All of them have water fountains, trash cans and poop bags. One thing that makes this dog park different from the others in the area is that it has a tree area so the dog can run in and out of the trees and also some shade. A lot of dog parks here are just pure dirt but not this one. Also this place gives a good area for the dog to run. Also if you need to use the restroom there’s a porter potty. Tons of parking. If you want to go for a little walk you could go on the some trail and then go to the dog park then by the time you’re done with both your dog will be...

This park has been a godsend for me... I live in an apartment and have a new puppy with a lot of energy! There are four separate areas and generally you can find a place with dogs of similar size and age to play... And usually there is at least one of the four areas that is empty. Two of the areas are larger and two of the areas are smaller and all four have water available for the dogs as well as disposal bags for feces and trash cans. The whole area is well maintained. I have met a lot of nice people and nice dogs! Everyone seems to be pretty responsible for cleaning up, mess and taking care...
