Marshview Park (Northside) — Attraction in Virginia Beach

Took my dog here for something different. It was OK. Not great. Not bad. We usually go to Trashmore or Lake Smith/Lake Lawson. The trails here were fine, but there were no maps or indicators of where we were going. Also, at the two aforementioned parks, there are plenty of trash cans along the trails. This was not the case at Marshview. My dog made a mess and after picking it up, I pretty much had to carry it the entire route because there were no trash receptacles once we left the paved path. Also, there was not a water fountain -- at least one that I saw. On hot days, it's nice to get a sip of water -- more importantly for my dog than me. But there were none. After my experiences at other Virginia Beach parks, I just assumed we'd be able to get a drink at some point....

Thought this place was pretty good. dog parks in front, several, so at the right time you could probably have one dog park all to your own. only 1 portapotty. most of the trails were paved, and a few small playground area for children. you could get a little more walking in than I did but it isn't the most robust trails in the world. still, very...
