The Family Church — Attraction in Voorhees Township

I've been visiting churches, so far just a few. I work on Sundays sometimes so I can't always go to church. The Family Church members were warm and friendly as church folks should be but they are NOT always kind even on your very first visit, shhh 🤫 they don't want you to know that though lol. Some will make you feel very unwelcomed that you don't want to come back ( I guess some MEMBERS don't know that God is watching how they treat some people right up in the Big beautiful church building being seat fillers 🪑 in the house of God. HE sees EVERYTHING we do ) The Pastor's preaching at The Family Church was anointed 📖 straight from the Bible ministering to my soul. I plan on coming back to visit TFC when I don't have to work on Sundays also Wednesday night services. I Love God ❤️ I need God 🙏🏽 I realize that I don't have to go to church to Love God and follow His word but I WANT to find a good church home and fellowship with God's people. All human beings fall short of being perfect that includes ME . As Christians we need to open our hearts to allow God to mold us into His perfect Will one day at a time in Jesus...

Safety concerns: I tried to attend this church and I must have been a little late or something. There was a guy at one entrance telling me to go to the other one to get in and the doors were bolted locked. No one was at the front of the building. I looked and waited and nobody came out. Then I walked back and the guy was gone. There was such limited parking that I had parked on the complete opposite side and walked over in the cold.

They need a fire door or something, not a dead bolt lock, if they're locking people in. That was more alarming than them not opening up to let me in. The music was also blaring loud from the outside. In the event that there was an emergency and I was trying to notify them, everyone would be toast. That's such a scary thought but I'm disappointed in the ill preparedness of them for not having the correct safety lock in 2023. The fire department needs to address this as well. Maybe it was meant for me to come late at 9am to see...

I prayed to get closer to God and ended up here. I've never been to a church where I actually felt the holy spirit and I'm so glad I found it. This church is LOUD with nothing but praise & worship. Where the seats are it is relatively dark, which I actually love. The spot light is on the stage and on the message / worship where it belongs. It really creates a safe place to open yourself up to God and praise without distractions/ judgement. My first time there I brought my 77 year old grandmother and she recieved hugs from people she didn't even know and was helped down the stairs by a younger boy. She loved it ! The Family Church really makes you feel like family. The messages are relatable and powerful. If it wasn't called The Family Church, I'd think Revival Church would be a good runner up name.
