G2 by Georgio's — Attraction in Waco

I would give less than 1 star if I could. Horrible experience, super sad that it is my daughters senior year, the last prom dress she will buy. Completely ignored by the sales girls. They were more interested in helping little thin, petite girls or gathered around talking with each other. The dresses had been well used and tried on, not taken care of. Thankfully we found one that she loved anyway, paid $500 for it. But its the one she wanted. If you're a girl of normal weight and size don't bother shopping here unless you want to feel uncomfortable and over pay!! For the record I never said there is anything wrong with my daughters size AT ALL. She is beautiful, tall and athletic. And absolutely the sales girls ONLY provided help to the petite girls in the store. EVEN when my daughter wanted to take a picture out of the dressing room she was stared down and not 1 time did the sales girl say anything nice or offer help at ALL. But she sure did fan over the other girls. SO insulting that I posted a comment that was true because she was made to feel uncomfortable and she felt that the sales people didn't want to help her because she was not like them, yes the truth is insulting. I should post the picture that I quickly took but I wont because it broke my heart. Then we had to go get someone to buy the dress and I was ask if we wanted to try it on, after we had been trying on dresses for 45 min as you stated in your response. My daughter saw one of Sherri Hill’s spring 2025 dresses online and fell in love with for her prom dress. We began looking for her dress in January and prom was April 12th. The one local dress shop in our town did not have it and would not be receiving another shipment with this dress until after prom. My daughter called EVERY Sherri Hill designer dress shop from Texas to Louisiana to Mississippi looking for the dress. All were sold out and/or their next shipment was not arriving until after prom. My daughter was about to give up when I told her she had TWO more stores left to call and it only takes ONE to have the dress. Georgio’s Bridal & Formal in Waco, Tx was that YES. Leah, who answered and helped my daughter told us they did not have the dress in stock currently, but had an extra shipment coming in! Georgio’s, Leah said, orders an extra shipment every prom season because it’s their busy and after market had already placed this order. We had a very positive experience prom dress shopping at G2 today. Laci was super inviting, friendly, and very helpful from the moment we stepped in the door. It was so nice to have her help and her knowledge in helping pick out a dress, once we told her the style we were looking for. We were in and out of the store within 45 min, and that’s including the time spent with alterations lady who pinned the dress. We went to Whatchamacalit last year, and it was super chaotic, and we didn’t have anywhere close to the experience with customer service that we had today!
