LaSalle Shoppes — Attraction in Waco

There are a few good things about this place and a few not so good. Good

1. there is a lot of variety of unique one of a kind items - My personal favorite is the place to the Left as you walk it, many interesting items. And upstairs has fun things.
2. Friendly employees - Always the nicest to everyone
3. Some things are consistent but they get new things all the time - There are also a lot of hand made products that people sell at the location.

Bad

1. Not everything there is antique and are a little over price for the quality. Not the shoppes fault, it is consignment shop.
2. There is not a lot of AC and in central Texas, it gets hot
3. Small parking area, if you drive a large vehicle, try to park closer to the Left side which will allow you to leave towards the side street and drive around the back to LaSalle. LaSalle is always busy and it is the...

The owner is so rude. The sign outside says 6pm and at 5:54pm she says “we are closed” and proceeds to turn off the lights. Disgusting behavior for someone who is coming into your store wanting to purchase something. I told my son to put his items down, as I’m not going to support a business like that.

Update 10/18/25: We were not the only ones in the store. There was another customer in there which was allowed to stay. I don't believe there was a miscommunication given that I clearly hear talking about us and huffing. I have supported many businesses and will continue to happily do so if the respect if given. I have been several times and always find something! I noticed you stood up for a local restaurant that was given a poor and unfair review by Jennifer S. This same lady did a fake bad review on you, because your shop discreetly commented and encouraged a new small business in Waco (the restaurant closed early because of the worst winter storm that’s ever hit Texas). I reported Jennifer’s nasty fake review on your page and I hope I counter acted her pettiness.
