09/07/24 Original Review: Beware of employees just telling you what you want to hear to make a sale. We spent over $200 on CBD gummies & vape juice for legit therapeutic use that the friendly & enthusiastic employee promised 100% would not show up on a drug test. But my Husband failed drug tests for the edibles AND the juice (first together, then separate hoping it was only one of the products causing the fail). We spent hundreds of dollars more on cleanses & supplements & drug tests. So we're $500 in & it was all a massive waste. Can't use the products & spent sooo much trying to cleanse & test & undo the damage! HUGE MISTAKE to trust them!
09/07/24 Update: I received a quick reply this morning (9:05am, probably less than an hour after posting my review) requesting that I text. I texted (copying & pasting the number so I know it was correct) with photos confirming my purchase & the products I was wrongfully told would not be detected on a drug test. 10 hours later at 7pm I have not received a response to my texts, which is disappointing. (Considering how fast they responded to my review & that they requested the text, I expected a reply today but I do understand things are not always instant.) I will update if/when I receive a response.
09/30/24 UPDATE: They never responded to my polite texts sent 3 weeks ago on 09/07/24 or the simple reminder sent on 09/12/24. I checked my review today & noticed THE STORE REMOVED THEIR RESPONSE! It's a good thing I screenshot it so I have proof.
11/31/24 UPDATE: I received another reply (which I thankfully screenshot because it was then deleted) on Oct 3rd saying "The CBD juice we have is [sic] 100% doesn't show in the system" though my husband failed 14 & 3 panel urine tests & saliva tests (no chance it was a false positive). We've requested feedback from employees at other stores & every single one has concurred that the trace amounts of THC in those CBD products (according to the manufacturer's published test results online) CAN be enough to test positive. The store's deleted reply also included "if you still have the CBD we can return it for you" "if not we can give you some 100% CBD products to try out" as well as an apology & assurance that they care about their customers. On November 9th we finally made it back (we live an hour away). The employee who sold us the products was defensive & passive agressive. She insisted other customers tested clean and that there is no THC in those CBD products contrary to the MANUFACTURERS who say there are trace amounts that CAN cause positive tests. They refunded us $95 for the bottle of vape juice but not the gummies. We were also offered a very generous discount with a reminder that positive reviews are important. I got sick right afterward & then had a lot of catching up to do that delayed an update. I originally gave one star ⭐ but I am very grateful we were refunded for one of the products so am adding a star ⭐⭐. I also appreciate the generous discount incentive so am adding another star for that ⭐⭐⭐. However I can not add a 4th star because of how passive aggressive (and a bit argumentative) the employee was defending her statements that those products would absolutely not cause a failed test. And I can not add a 5th star due to the review reply also saying it "100% doesn't show in the system" contrary to what the manufacturer & others in the industry say or have experienced. The failed tests were downplayed even though a failed test can be VERY serious with devastating consequences (ie loss of job/income/custody, jail/prison for those on bond/probation).
6/30/25 UPDATE: The partial refund & discount incentive to manipulate me into giving a positive review was not enough to make up for the problems their rude, lying sales girl caused & the cost to us to fix it. She's a legal liability for the store/customers but managment supported her & actually reitterated the misleading, dangerously incorrect information! Their CBD products do contain small amounts of THC & can cause...
Read moreHostile counter person. Usually smoke shops have good vibes or at least they are neutral spaces that welcome and serve patrons that enter to buy. Not this one.
So, there's another smoke shop one half block up the street that has a fair shot of supplying any smoke/tobacco product sought while being hospitable rather than hostile.
I encountered this shop by happenstance while waiting for food at the friendly fish place next door. If you like oyster poboys, get one there.
It would have been better to walk down the block rather than descend inside this head shop with all bad vibes.
Good vibes ONLY is the preference and expectation in such establishments.
Considering the diversity of the customer base for such a place, misplaced bias can offend, and repel future patronage.
Oh well.

Read moreGive it credit for being a 24-hour smoke shop, but when I went with my friend the guy working, older guy, maybe store owner I'm not sure, was kind of rude, didn't know much about anything he had. Process are a bit high. I wouldn't rate it the best smoke shop in town, but if you're needing something late at night I mean this place might do the trick if you don't care about overpaying for things. Wasn't busy at all. Store was clean. If this place has more of a upbeat vibe, and like you were welcomed I would give it a better rating. I don't want to walk into a place and feel like I should just leave because I feel like I'm a nuisance for...
