I booked an online facial package here for relaxation and was really looking forward to it. My husband took off to stay with our son so I could have this done and I had booked the “clinical plus facial” package. After arriving to my appointment, I waited (and waited) then my facialist called me to the back. This is where things started to go down hill. After entering the back, the facialist said “Sorry for running behind—I thought your appointment was 11:45a (but I was scheduled to start at 11:30a).” I was first shown to a facial scanner machine and told “put this net on and we’ll scan your face to help find and target problem areas.” I told her politely, “no thank you, I really don’t want to be upsold to and I simply would like the relaxing facial package that I booked. I don’t care to look for extra skin problems today.” She proceeded to tell me what it was for (including finding areas which may require chemical peels and to suggest other things they want to provide that I didn’t book). I explained again, “I go somewhere that I love for the extras and I would like to simply have the relaxing facial package that I booked, is that possible without doing this?” As she was speaking— I shook my head to suggest “no” and replied for the third time again, “that’s okay, I’m good and really don’t want to do it today”. Her response was exactly this— “Is everything okay with you— do you need a moment?” Yes, so because I didn’t want to be upsold or want the facial scanner, I was made to feel like I had something wrong with me. I was being polite, clear and concise. After her asking this extremely belittling and rude question, I turned right around and walked out to the front desk to have a conversation with the front desk. I told the front desk what had happened and they claimed the facial scanner was optional. That was not my experience, even though—brief. I explained to them, that’s not how I was made to feel. Honestly? I could not believe the facialist asked if I had something wrong with me because I had politely opted not to do it. At the front desk I explained what I went through and how unprofessional it all was. I told them to cancel my appointment and I walked out. Who would feel comfortable moving forward after an interaction by someone so unprofessional like that? They have lost my business and because of this, I will never return. If you want your face scanned to be sold to—by all means visit here. If you want a relaxing facial where they care about you…and your not some sale, seek elsewhere.

Hannah was so amazing! Since it was my first time I agreed to get the basic facial because I didn’t know what I needed. She made it known to me that my skin was pretty good and that the facial was just standard so she offered dermaplanning which gave me such a BEAUTIFUL GLOW! Usually when you are new to a facility they give you the basic facial first to get a feel for your skin, but I knew I wanted something that gave me some results once I left and it did! I will be back actually already scheduled my next appointment.

I’ve always enjoyed Synergy face & body but it was a distance to get to for me. I was so happy they opened a Wake Forest location right up the street! They are amazing, all the way from the receptionist to Shelby who all took the time to get to know me and accommodate my needs. I honestly can’t say enough good things about my first visit @ the Wake Forest location. Love these girls already!! 💗

I love love love my appointments at Synergy Face & Body in Wake Forest. I originally came here because I went to their location near Oberlin and loved my experience there but the Wake Forest location was literally walking distance from work so I had to check it out. I have never been disappointed with my experience here. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with smiling faces. I have done Botox and Lip Fillers with Shelby and fully trust her and her recommendations! She's honest with me and tells me the best way to reach the results I want. I also go to Hannah for various facial treatments. She has helped me get rid of the consistent acne I had around my chin due to wearing a mask for work. She also has helped brightened my skin and given me the glow that I feel like matches my age. I also trust Hannah fully and love how she studies my face and adjusts our plans to match the condition it's in. I also love the smiles I get when I leave and make my follow up appointments. Sometimes I can be looking a little rough but the front staff never let's you feel it. I am really excited about their new membership program that rewards the loyalty to their customers. Again I love coming here and really appreciate the little boosts in confidence I get by...

I wanted to wait until I was done with my procedures and recovery to leave this review and now are excited to share my experience with Synergy Face & Body, Wake Forest and with my nurse injector Shelby. In my mid-40’s I noticed my face changing (aging lol) and really wanted help to feel and look more youthful. Something subtle and natural, but I was so nervous. After doing lots of research and reading tons of reviews I decide to book an appointment with Shelby at Synergy. I am so happy I did!

I cannot say enough good things about Shelby. Since day one, she made me feel so comfortable, she’s friendly and has an ease when listening and explaining the aging process, ways we can target problems areas and give a natural youthful look. I also really appreciate her helping me have realistic expectations, understand post-care and recovery from injectables and also taking the time to go over prices while respecting my budget. Synergy also has really awesome promotions during the year, that Shelby was also was able to tell me about and saved me money! Thank you so much Shelby, you’re...
