I've been there multiple times but now it is time for me to write a review. The food is good, but the employees are not doing the right job.
Today I stopped by again at the drive thru and placed my order, everything looked good at the monitor. When I drive to the cashier, they asked me $10 more, so I asked for an explanation. As it happens multiple time in the last months, they did non type my coupons... After they scanned them, they still asked me about $6 more again, so I started to question about the price for the meals. I ordered 2 regular meal (8.99 each) plus 3 kids’ meal (6.19 each) and it took me just a sec to get the total order (around $36/38), but the person at the cashier took a very long time to think, he looked very confused (I do not want to say that he wasn't able to calculate in his mind a total but this is what looked like), and he closed the window and started to laugh with a co-worked. The employee opened the window again and told me the correct price, so I paid. They started to give me my sodas ... with ice! I explicitly say that I did not want ice and I had to ask for the last one that he was going to forget. He gives me the ice-cream and again, he was forgetting one. After that, I moved my car in the place to get my order and, after just a minute, a car back stop beside my car and told me "You are an as**e, you slowed down the line. You should go inside to order"... WOW! It never happens something like that to me in my life.... Finally, my order arrived, I checked that in all the bags that at least the number of items were correct, and I start driving home. Arrived at home I notice that 1 of the burgers in reality was a cheeseburger.... My little son cannot eat cheese so what? He had to dinner with just fries... Sigh! And thanks again Culver's!!
With this review I want to make aware any other possible customers of this terrible service! Check, double check, and triple check everything, starting for the price that you get to what's inside your meal because for me 8 times out of 10 there...
Read moreI found a whole rat in my burger once.. Their spicy chicken sandwich is delicious and their cheese curds are incredible. Most fast food places dont offer cheese curds so thats a nice option. Their pot roast is also pretty good. For the negatives, im not a fan of their burgers as they only taste a little better than mcdonalds and their mashed potatoes were complete garbage (tasted like crappy grits). They have a solid ice cream selection. I've never been disappointed with their chicken sandwiches or tenders and the buffalo sauce has exceptional flavor as well.
Update: posting burger pics. I've been here a couple times in the last couple weeks and I simply cannot eat their burgers anymore. They did taste good for awhile but the last time I went, it looked like a scab and tasted very flat. Asked to have it remade with the same result. I got their spicy chicken sandwich yesterday and those have always been good. I think the burgers are smashed to paper thin size and then coated with some dirt before being cooked. Very strange that they can make certain food items very well but there is no consistency with the burgers and the cooks clearly don't care if the food is messed up. Dropping rating from 5 to 1. I will continue to eat the chicken sandwiches and cheese curds but a manager or owner should sit down and taste test all of their products and honestly consider whether all of the food is good or if people just simply have skewed taste buds and eat their crappy burgers and mashed potatoes without merit. The food is overpriced for the quality. I don't think anybody can look at the picture of my burger I bought the other day and seriously think it looks good. It was literally flaking apart. I used to work in restarunts and would be ashamed of myself to give some of this food to customers. I see that the owner of Culver's said "we never compromise on quality", well that's just...
Read moreCulver’s is a staple in the mid-west, particularly Wisconsin. Their Cheese curds are recommended to try, their burgers are good WHEN MADE CORRECTLY, and that’s where this 1 star location comes in to play. First, there’s a lady with glasses who stands at the register and asks what she can make for you, and she does it in a tone & manner like she literally hates her job and doesn’t give two hoots about you. Then, it’s either her or the people in the back who cannot take an order correctly. I think it’s the people in the back because the lady in the front asked me if I wanted a SINGLE stack burger or a DOUBLE stack burger. I told her I wanted a SINGLE stack burger, yet I get a DOUBLE. So you think, “No big deal, I’ll just take off one burger,” but it doesn’t work like that at all. They fuse the two burgers in a layer of cheese so that when you get home, it’s impossible to peele one burger off. (See photo) I had to throw away the whole burger. Pretty sad I have to take the burger out of the bag, unwrap it, and check that it’s right before leaving the restaurant. I’m not recommending you to not go here, because you’d be missing out on great food (when done right); but I am saying you cannot trust this location and need to check your food before leaving with it because it really sucks when you have to throw you...
