There is truly no better place to get your wedding dress than The Dressing Room. After a terrible experience at a large department store, walking into this intimate, beautifully curated boutique was a breath of fresh air. The private suite comfortably fit my mother, mother in laws, and three bridesmaids, and we were even treated to champagne — such a special touch.

The dress selection was extensive, and I loved that I was able to customize my gown to a sweetheart neckline. It came in on time and was absolutely perfect. Lyndsay was an expert in every way — she made the entire experience seamless, always texting back when I had questions and helping me feel supported every step of the way.

She even went above and beyond by scheduling appointments for my mom and mother-in-law to find their dresses — both looked stunning! On the day of the wedding, Lyndsay was there in person to style, assist, and capture moments for social media. When I accidentally got mud on my dress before the ceremony, she saved the day — calm, prepared, and dedicated!

I also found my rehearsal dinner dress and several beautiful accessories at the boutique. Since the wedding, I’ve continued to shop there because they offer so much more than just bridalwear. I bought a gown from this store for an important event and paid for the alterations to be done there as well. The day of the event, right before leaving to head out, I put the dress on and it had a very noticeable hole in the material below the zipper that never got fixed. I panicked and had to stitch the dress myself (I am not a good sewer at all) but I had no other option since we had to leave in 5 minutes. I brought the dress back a couple days later in hopes they would give me a partial refund for the alteration price since there was a hole in the dress and the manager refused to refund me any money and said it was partially my fault because I didn't try the dress on when I picked it up....She only offered to fix my dress free of charge which doesn't do me any good since the event is already over....the tailor actually laughed and made fun of my stitching on top of it all. So not only did they not refund me anything, she attempted to make me feel bad by saying he put a lot of work into the dress...which is what I paid them for .Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed with their lack of customer service and their overall rudeness after this being their fault. I will definitely not be shopping...

Prom is a unique experience, I came to the Dress Room in Wallingford looking for the perfect dress for my daughter's prom. We found a dress, she loved it and needed some alterations so the Owner referred me to a tailor nearby. Everything was going smoothly, customer service was great but The tailor send me a picture and I came to notice that the dress I paid over $700.00 for was poorly made. The dress is a fiasco, the sewing is poorly made. After I called the store they didn't even care about the problem, the only reason I'm not returning the dress is that my daughter is scared of not having a dress for her prom. The tailor did what she could but is still very noticiable.Please be aware of the store and the dresses may not be worth what you are...
