This place was awe inspiring. I went through YOU Tube for some information on this place, and the interesting stones and pieces of history lovingly placed here. Very fascinating. There is a secret place within this Garden that is not talked about publicly, I did not know about it until I found it. Finding it, and its wealth of knowledge and treasures, was the most memorable thing about this place. During my visit, only one other good gentle came upon and into this mysterious realm. The ability to stroll through the mind of this Garden’s creator was a gift. The monument to the Fallen utilizing spent shell casings was effective in its lesson. Having only seen this beautiful place once in my life, I will be sadden to hear of the creator’s death, saddened even more, if no one picks up his mantle and continues his wonderful work. I shall keep a small part of this astonishing achievement and gift in my heart, as I travel this world, knowing that there is more good than bad in Humanity. Thank you. My only advice, is for those visiting during the mosquito season, a little bug spray is in order. I add only these few pictures...
Read moreI have been interested in visiting this place for years, but was always a little intimidated to go because it is in someone's backyard. I thought it would have been awkward to just walk on to someone's property, but it's not awkward at all. You can just park on the street and walk down the driveway into the backyard and you will be amazed. There is roughly 2 acres worth of stuff, but even though it is random objects and rocks that most people would not think much of, this place is very different. Everything is set in such a way and has a meaning and purpose. I had no idea the level of Serenity I would discover here. It's not something I can explain in words, you have to visit to know what I'm talking about. I would urge anybody reading this to make the drive to see Jim's vision. My biggest regret is that I didn't get a chance to meet him before his passing, but I am confident that he is still there. You can feel him. Thank you Jim for creating an incredible experience for me that I will never forget. There is a donation box on the porch, please donate when you visit... keep Jim's...
Read moreThis place was hands down awesome. I'm not a hippie or frankly the most positive person in the world but the fact that this man has such a great outlook on life to allow people 24/7 on his land at his house and his back yard is just mind blowing. You can seriously appreciate the dedication and admire that he allows people to enjoy such an eclectic environment. Hidden gems and treasures all over. You can spend all day looking and admire what he has done. Absolutely awesome and I thank you for doing something like this for the rest of us to come visit and enjoy. In this day and time you are an absolute gym and I seriously appreciate you and the courtesy to share something so intimate. Outstanding work. If the owner ever reads this just know that us strangers that show up can only admire the welcome hand you offer by visiting your land. It's beyond fun when you break it down in thought. Every single inch of the place can lead you down a different path for you to see something new. Thank you. Highly...
