Water Wizz participated in false advertising during their Memorial Day Sale. The site advertised tickets were Buy 1 get 1 50% Off. Tickets we "on sale" for $36, and as the sale read I would buy one at $36 and get one half off at $18. I initially spoke with a rep who said there was a lot of confusion, that all the tickets were all being sold at the deal price, $36 ($48 is the full price, half of that would be $24 so they made all tickets $36 to give everyone the "deal" for buying two tickets.). Which is not what the sale on the website advertised.
I spoke to manger (Chris) who was adamant I was reading the webpage wrong, that it says all tickets are $36. I continued to say I was overcharged, I did not receive the 50% off portion of the sale, all tickets were $36 and he continued to be firm that that is what the website said all tickets are $36 and there is no half off and read it to me over and over saying BOGO 1/2 was the $36 price. Thirty six dollars was the only payment amount available, there was nothing for $48, so per their website I pay $36 and get half off the next ticket, a sale was advertised and not given and if it was then this could have all been avoided because I would not have to read between the lines and do the math as Chris explained I should.
The webpage advertised a BOGO 1/2 off sale, not all tickets for $36. After a whole mess of him telling me I'm reading the site wrong, and asking for a refund twice he allegedly put that through. We shall see if I get it.

Read moreI am 42 and have three kids age 7, 10 and 12. We all absolutely love Water Wizz. We got season tickets in 2025 and visited nine times this summer. Every single time, the kids were fine staying in the park for 6+ hours. They did not get bored all day. My wife and I first came in 2017 with a 4 and a 2 year old. We've been coming back every year, except for the pandemic. The thing I love most about this park is that it has activities for all ages. The smaller wading pools are fun and safe for under age 2, while the big drops are still not boring for me today - and my wife won't get near them! They say all fun things are illegal, immoral, or fattening - Water Wizz is super fun and it is none of these.
Now, to the drawbacks. One, the place has lots of kids! If you hate kids, you will be better off on an adults-only cruise, cause I don't think you'll ever find a water park without kids. Two, Water Wizz is not disability-friendly. None of the water slides have wheelchair-accessible ramps or elevators. Three, food is overpriced, which it always is at water parks. Bring your lunch in a cooler and your wallet will thank you.
Lastly, you have to be smart about the lines. If you go on the slides at 2pm on a sunny Saturday in late July, and Sunday is forecast to be rainy - of course, the place will be packed, you'll be stuck waiting 30+ minutes in line, you will hate it and your kids will whine and hate it. So one, rope drop! Show up at 9:50 before the place opens - this also really helps with getting a free table. Get as many rides in as you can between 10 and 11. Once the lines get long, switch to the wave pool and Herring Run River, cause these don't have lines. Also, know where to go! The Canal has insane lines, because there is only one slide and the ride is 45 seconds. On a busy day, do it only once, first thing in the morning. Squid Row is only a little better, because everyone always wants to do the more thrilling enclosed side. Thunder Falls has the shortest lines, and Devil's Peak usually isn't terrible either, if you're into it. Lastly, if you go when the weather is borderline (warm but cloudy, or a small chance of rain), or if you come during early or late season, the crowd will be thin and you'll be able to ride all you want.
In short, Water Wizz is one of those few places that are fun for kids without being boring for the parents. In the summer there is no better family-friendly place...
Read moreWe had a great time, group of 20, 2yr to 18yr for the kids and the adults had a fun time too! Went on a Thursday, suppost to be the second least busiest in the summer, Tuesday is considered the least busiest, was there at 11am(open @ 10am), we had printed tickets and were able to go to the front of the line(60 people deep), by 11:30 no line. Their is a wait for all slides which can vary from 30min to 15min, these slides are insanely fun, my kids both(6boy & 7girl ,54 inches each) were blown away, smiles from ear to ear. The wave pool was fun, they had 7 life guards when the pool was at it's peak with people, maybe 125-150, my kids went in multiple times, they really enjoyed it. Lazy River was good, kids liked the kid pool and the Pirate island. If you stay the whole day you must drink plenty of water, multiple sun block cover and eat small multiple stretched meals. We rented a cabana which gave us a home base, you probably could of just set up shop in an area with an umbrella but no big deal, we did not rent the tubes, but if you have multiple teenager's and are going any day of the week it probably would be a good idea, you can bypass a portion of lines with them, they are just single tube, not double, if you plan on going on the rides together with a small kid then do no rent the tubes. We brought food and drinks in coolers which I highly recommend. Water was 84 degrees(90 outside temp, partly cloudy), on top of the big slides at the tree lines we had a breeze. The worst thing is we had to wait for the rides but you have to wait at any place like this so why complain. The place was pretty clean and very well staffed, they actually paid attention and were not just there on their smartphones saying "you're next". My kids loved it, when we left the first thing my daughter asked me was "when are we going back?" I was able to get my tickets during the promo period special they have when the tickets were half off, no complaints here. This is definitely on the Summer...
