Stop & Shop — Local services in Wareham

Three tries before I got a working cart having to unload and reload a four year old our bags and my purse...no scanner shoppers available they we're all completely out of order. On top of that they had incorrect sale signs in the sale display coolers for meat...it was not honored even though they had a sign for those items that were supposed too be at that sale price until the following day...I made sure it wasn't at any of my own reading error. The woman at self check-out was miserable .like, didn't listen which causes her to take ten times longer to fix and void the the item that was marked on sale but wasn't ringing up, argued with me acted like I was an idiot, super miserable. Only good kind help I received was from an outside product company employee who was only in there too drop off his products. He wasn't even a stop and shop employee. Sooooo I'll be sure to drive right past this one back too the Plymouth stop and shop even if it's out of my way. Miserable useless angry employees, nothing in working order, everything broken old and awful, sales not honored, mismarked and advertised in displays meant for the sale. Really...

This store is dirty and way, way overpriced......I remember going there and spent around $140 and had about 6 bags not even full. I found things were like 3x what other grocery stores charge. I only go here if I absolutely have to......I usually drive all the way to Trucchis in Middleboro...that store is awesome and not crazily priced...awesome fresh meats.....and the store is super clean and has every register open.......Stop and Shop in E Wareham can have long lines and will have 2 registers only open..and you hear the others in line also making comments about it too. Self checkout always has issues so you have to wait for someone to come reset the self check kiosk....it is really annoying. The only other choice in the town is Shaw's....which isn't much better.... I find the few tomes I've had to shop at this Stop & Shop that i've spent triple on what i've spent at our usual store Trucchi's in Middleboro. That store is well worth driving the distance rather than going to that overpriced dirty store.......How do people afford to shop there...

East Wareham Stop & Shop Voicing My Opinion 09/01/19

I pray that Stop & Shop closes and gets replaced by Market Basket not only do they mistreat their employees, but also their customers. Their prices are way to high and their produce is discusting!

They treat their customers like thieves. I bought items next door at Ocean State, the items I bought were bagged in recycling bags. Cashing out at S&S the bagger asked me if I notified the cashier of these items. I advised her that I bought them from Ocean State. She proceeded to go touch my things in the bag anyways and picked one of my items up. I said to her Ma'am I told you I bought them from Ocean State the receipt is right there. I made sure my receipt was right on top before I even entered S&S. Why use recycling bags if I am going to be labeled a theif?

She didn't even ask my permission to look, she just took it upon herself to touch my things after I already told her! That is what really upsets me. I already defused the situation anyways. Never to shop...
