I am outrageously disgusted with this "store" I shall say franchise. They saw I had a pentagram on, started preaching to me about their religion, prices are twice as retail, they removed the half off they had four months ago, and spiked all merchandise up, they were selling underwear that was excessively stained, clothing wasn't washed before placed on shelves, saw bed bugs on the mattresses, cheapest pair of pants were ripped past usage and were $4, smells of cigarettes all over the store, half of the electronics I bought I was told were working in which they weren't, everything is overpriced and too expensive for a thrift store, I will recommend to everyone I know to stay away from this place. I am severely offended by staff, I was accused of stealing from the store when I just entered and was told to empty my pockets, low and behold I had my phone and my wallet, they also are selling opened boxes of tampons and women's hygene products. I am disgusted and I absolutely, under no circumstances will go back in there, they can offer me 75% off any price and I won't enter after I was treated in there. I was with my three friends and we were going to surprise one with newish clothing, but walked out after seeing low cost retail jeans for $30. We left after 10 minutes, I urge you all to stay away, let this place go down in profit and crumble, it's not worth it to even step foot inside there anymore. If you do go in there, be very prepared with at least $500 for...
Read moreHad a poor experience today. As I walked in the store there was what appeared to be a young homeless girl walking around the parking lot, she wasn't bothering anyone just walking around looking for bottles and what not (more on that later.)
So I walk in the store and was greeted politely. All good so far. I took a right and was looking around and I hear one of the ladies working the register use the F word loudly. Doesn't offend me personally but it's bad practice for a place if business, especially a church operated store. Could definitely offend a lot of the patrons that shop there. Also heard some of the guys in the back using the F word on numerous occasions.
Anyways, the main reason for my disappointment was the guy in the back was making fun of the young girl that I mentioned in the beginning. It was inappropriate and distasteful. The girl wasn't bothering anyone, wasn't asking for money, nothing.
A less important thing I noticed is that they no longer take coupons, which is fine, but prices also seem higher which is a bit odd.
But again my only real complaint was the guy making fun...
Read moreEvery saturday is half off everything, so I always make it a point to go if I can. The furniture prices are high for the quality/condition tbh, but I got a good deal on a couch once and it was clean. Pickup was easy. Apparently they offer delivery but the conversation was so convulted I wasn't sure they actually do it since the cashier didn't seem to have an actual written policy, just estimating a delivery price off the top of his head. Delivery also apparently would take over a week to go 2 miles. tbh if they don't have the staff capabilities to handle deliveries, just don't offer them - most stores don't, so that's okay.
Clothing selection isn't huge, but that's probably since it turns over more frequently due to the saturday sale and fairly decent prices. Large housewares section. They have a "vintage"/special clothing rack and it's okay, but sometimes pretty meh. They DO have fitting rooms all the way at the back, which is nice! Large jewelry cases at the front. No toys other than a big bin of plushes and a small bin of dolls sometimes. Small book and...
