The name means #1 pho in Vietnamese. I've been here 3 times now, once when they first opened, once last week, and just a few minutes ago. The first time was OK, the second time was great but this time was not good.
The good: -Open, spacious, clean, and seemed busy for being only open so recently. -Lots of pho to choose from. -Handmade meatballs -pho is pretty good! Lots of scallions, which I love. -garlic condiment is great.
The bad -no appetizers or drinks -didnt bring me water -had to ask three times for scissors to cut my son's pho up. OK, once is mandatory. Second is like...I know you heard me. Three times? slow service. Quick for food to come out but slow for them to take our order. gave me wrong pho. I wanted the brisket but they gave me the. Sliced beef only. no jalapeños or green onions, or tripe and meatballs in my mom's order. She ordered the pho special so it should have been included.
The ugly the granddaughter is running around, without anyone watching after her. Climbed on my son's high chair and grabbed his arm, and the waitress (looked like her sister) didn't say anything when taking our order. boss lady wearing a dress and heels to work? Please don't be pretentious. I don't like bosses that act like the boss. We know you're the boss, but don't impose that on employees and point and tell them what to do. Go around, take orders, and help out. the boss told her granddaughter to give my son candy without asking me. The girl put a open butterfinger in front of him. What if he had a peanut allergy? Or I don't want him eating candy? Ask first.

Read moreI found this place on Tik Tok! I was greeted promptly and warmly by a very pleasant waitress in a pretty skirt suit. When I walked in, I couldn't help but notice the clean and family style atmosphere. I already knew what I wanted, so I ordered before I sat down as I was on my lunch hour and didn't have much time to spend. I had only been there a few minuets and a kind uncle came and brought me a large bowl filled with fresh ingredients, lots of greens, tasty meat and a very flavorful broth. The brisket was very tender and one thing about the Pho special, which is what I had, is that their meat balls are home made and not the chewy ones that come in the freezer section. They were very tasty!
Another stand out is the sauces and relishes on the table, I have been to 4-5 Pho spots in Metro Detroit and never seen pickled garlic with red chilis. It was sharp and a little spicy. it was great to cut the fat on brisket and sharpen up the broth with the slightly spicy vinegar. if you aren't a lime fan, I recommend it. They use flat noodles instead of the thin round rice noodles, so that is my only knock if the owners are reading. Overall, I recommend this place and hope they keep up what...
Read moreTried their Pho Dac Biet and was expecting the usual beef cuts but didn’t expect to have chicken in pho dac biet (my fault for not reading the menu). Their pho is cooked northern Vietnamese style so the broth is lighter and not as beefy. I liked that they used traditional flat pho noodles. The meats given were ok. Their homemade meatballs were too grainy and had fairly strong ginger taste, which took me by surprise. The sliced beef was tender. Chicken pieces were decent, nice crunch to them (authentic to how Vietnamese like our chicken). The broth could use more flavor though. I really liked that they gave a lot of green onions.
Overall, it isn’t my new go to but it is still new so there are room for errors! Give it a try yourself and support...
