The people are fine but the products are terrible. This is my 2nd time buying from their when their is a closer hobby shop to my house but they do not have a great assortment of toys. First I bought a quad copter $160 that did not have the power to fly. I have been trying to sell it on ebay and I only tried flying it a few times. I actually had better luck with $30 Wall-mart drones. I bought a plane and they told me it was for more advanced people but I did not have a clue how lacking everything is. It came with no instructions and the product claimed to have a charger because that is what I wanted but the charger needed a power source and it has Alligator clips that I can not use and their is also no directions and then before I was even able to play with it the plane tipped off a table about 2 ft tall and the nose bent sideways at the tip and cracked more than I would have expected from an all out full speed crash. Considering the quality of this RC plane I would say it's worth about $20, I seriously should have asked them to take it out of the box because the packaging material it came in was better quality than the plane was. After the drone I thought it was not their fault but now this is twice where the quality of the product was so low I feel astonished. Apparently they do not take returns and now I know why. They told me this plane was for experienced pilots but they said nothing about the fact this TOY is more delicate than fine China. I am so upset right now, right away I was angry about the charger and the lack of instructions and the fact that it looks like it may have already been returned being that things are missing out of the box and then when I go to grab it it tips and brakes and I have yet to try to fly it. The Material it is made of is all Bubbly Styrophome and looks like low grade packaging material. I could go on about how pretty much every detail about this plane is cheap beyond belief, I was upset from the moment I pulled it out of the box and seen how how different it was from the plane on the box. They got me for almost $250 and I got nothing out of it except some shipping material in the shape of an airplane and I had to buy the remote for it so I have a useless remote and a non flyable RC airplane and a charger that I can not use without spending more money. They have a no return policy and now I see why, I have not had it more than 5 hours and it's basically gone. I...
Read moreProp Shop Hobbies is one of few local hobby shops left that not only sells and stocks the latest Radio Control (RC) Vehicles, Planes, Boats, Helicopters, Drones, and related support equipment/replacement parts etc… plus carries a large inventory to support many older Rc models/less mainstream products since they have been in business for a long time. Prop Shop continues to sell a large selection of kits, parts, & support equipment. Plus all the building supplies, a large selection of hardware and tools for hobbyists like myself that build & complete their own rc boat or plane kits. While offering all of the popular ready to run rc vehicles too. The owner & employees are very knowledgeable in all aspects of the hobby. If there is something you need that they do not have in stock, they can order it for you since they have long time relationships with many of the large suppliers, and the smaller specialty companies. Prop Shop also sells everything you expect to find at a hobby shop like models, rockets, educational toys, slot cars, metal detectors, and more. Model trains are the only the only hobby they do not specialize in, but have many of the hobby tools & supplies used in model railroading. There is much more they offer, but since my interests are in Rc products, that is what I can tell you the most about relating to this...
