James G. Atkinson Memorial Park — Attraction in Washington Township

If I could give it a -1 I would! The scenery was nice very very clean so that gets a 5 star! But the people were very racist! They had two little playgrounds side by side one was empty and the other there was females and their children! I chose to go in that one because I didnt want it to seem as if I didnt want to be around them so I joined them! As soon as my daughter and I entered both females gathered their children and went to the other empty playground! I didnt make a big deal I proceeded to play on the now empty playground with my daughter!! Its just sad because hate is taught and I feel bad for the kids because their parents...

A very nice bike\walk trail that goes along the water and around the entire park. There are basketball courts, tennis courts, a baseball field, a gazebo area, a really modern play area for kids with a new jungle gym, and a few small workout stops along the walk. Overall a very nice spot for picnics,family get together, small concerts, play some sports, workout a little, or just a peaceful walk in nature. Always very clean, there are public bathrooms and water fountains, no trash on the ground anywhere throughout the park. Always a nice experience, I'd recommend it to anyone...

What a great time me and my friend Carolyn had ! It was our first time. It was so nice to be served all the good picnic food . Service was excellent and everyone was so nice .The band was great and we had fun dancing to the awesome music they played , We had Mr.Softee, got our pictures taken at the photo booth and got a lot of information, gifts and gadgets. Many thanks and appreciation to Gloucester County for my first fun Summer Senior picnic ! I remember my mother's excitement about going to this picnic each year and now I'm old enough (lol)to go !...
