Staples — Attraction in Washington Township

I would normally not leave a 3 but I believe this to be deserving. I went to make copies of important paperwork. The young girl was so very helpful. I am disabled and sometimes my cognitive functioning is a big problem. I also am not tech savy. I wish I could of remembered her name. She assisted me efficiently. I had to use their public restroom which was dirty. Upon exiting the restroom the heavy door swung back quickly and nearly broke my arm. I told the girl who was copying and the Store Manager. Apparently they didn't care. It's okay was just badly bruised. Now brings me to the real reason of my 3 rating. I had to return to make more copies when I came across Kristin. Pleasant enough until I had to tell her I am cognitively affected and struggle with files ,printing and such. I had asked her to assist me and she stated "we are not allowed to do that". This could be true but the young lady who assisted me before understood what I was dealing with as she mentioned she needs to do this for her parents. Making me feel at ease. Kristen asked "is the document saved?". Not know exactly what she meant I went to my yahoo email and retrieved the document that I had starred to easily find. At this point I am now crying because when you are disabled mental or even physically people look at you and in their mind ,you don't look disabled. Kristen kept saying I am helping you but honestly I feel she made a spectacle of me . Well at least she handed me a box of tissues. So after 20 minutes of this we are now done. She checked me out still crying . Kristen said "have a good day" she actually repeated herself waiting for me to respond. I did I said " thank you for making me a spectacle and I hope you never get disabled. With that I walked out to the car as my husband has to drive me sobbing . I typically very much enjoy my experience at Staples but unfortunately that has changed. I regularly have to make Amazon returns as a part of my job, which can be a hassle as I have to return large quantities of items in one trip sometimes. I’ve done this many times and have never felt as disrespected as Kirk made me feel at this location. I had a cart full of Amazon returns that I needed processed - granted that can be a bit time consuming, however, his behavior was inexcusable. He made it abundantly clear that he was very upset. I went 9/2019 to get a backdrop and table runner done and the lady assisting me asked it was ok to answer some questions from another customer. I said no problem at all. Well the lady assisting me just abandoned what she started with me and assisted the other customer!!! I could not believe it! I asked her how long would she be and she said I will refer another person to assist you because the other needs of the other customer was complicated!
