new location is much smaller (so more compact) than the previous one. i could not find street parking on a sunday and parked in the garage. a worker said that she thinks they will always validate (only one hour) but the sign says “today only” which is confusing. there were bathrooms and two fitting rooms. i didn’t see any furniture but there were tons of clothes, shoes, and housewares. i was stressed about the parking limit so i couldn’t relax and enjoy browsing (the line was also very long at checkout). since i live across the city, i don’t think i’ll be coming back.

Terrible visit, if I could give zero stars I would. The cashier had charged me and didn’t add my discount for the sale items. I went back and she said “okay now what” with a disgusting look as if it’s my fault you can’t do your job right. These individuals have no class and are very racist. The manager heard it all and did absolutely nothing. Goodwill do better instead of hiring just individuals that can’t do the job right. No wonder your turnover rate is high and hire just anyone to be placed as cashier. They always just chit chat and gossip about other employees.

Very racist and disrespectful people works here, since you enter the store the people makes assumptions and unpleasant comments towards costumers. They start to gossip among them and making fun of people. You can feel their bad energy. And not to mention their racist comments and betting if you’ll make a purchase or not.

Subject: Feedback Regarding Donation Experience

I am writing to express my concerns regarding an incident that occurred on Saturday, November 4, at 4:18 PM, during my husband's and my visit to drop off donations.

Initially, we were met with guidance from a courteous employee who informed us of the procedures related to donation handling. However, another staff member addressed us in a manner that I found to be aggressive and unprofessional. His comments were not only disrespectful but also condescending, and I perceived them as inappropriate. Suggesting, "If he were a female, go and get your nephew," was particularly troubling.

All team members are to uphold a standard of professionalism and courtesy when interacting with donors and the community. The behavior exhibited by this individual was unacceptable and detracted from the positive experience we anticipated. I recommend that appropriate measures be taken to address this issue, including retraining in customer service skills.

Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I hope this feedback contributes to enhancing the overall...

A couple weeks ago I dropped off some clothes and blankets - i was using a reusable shopping bag that I wanted to keep so I asked in a really friendly manner if it wasn't too much trouble to get it back. The employee scoffed at me and said "well we're not THIEVES" and then handed me the bag. It just seemed unnecessarily hostile and rude and totally unjustified. I've always been a big supporter of Goodwill and will continue to be, but I do think it's important for the employees that are working there to learn how to deal with others in a professional and courteous way - especially if they hope to move forward into other roles in the workforce. I know that job training is a big component of the organizations mission, and is really important in helping some people get on their feet during difficult times. I have personal experience with benefiting from GW services and have seen what the organization did for people I care about. The employees inside the retail store were very friendly...

I donate once a week at this location and the folks here seem to be upset I come to donate frequently. I donate over 100s of items to Goodwill every month at various locations. Every time I go to the rockville or falls church location I am greeted with a warm welcome and a smile. They are thankful for my donations to the community they always assist with recycling the boxes that I use to donate the items. I was extremely disappointed to hear at this location they weren’t able to assist with recycling the boxes I use to donate my items. After one of the gentlemen told me that they could assist me with the recycling of my boxes. I even went the extra mile to speak with the manager on duty and the general manager to see if they could assist. The Garbage and waste were just emptied out prior to my arrival as told by management. I would like for upper management to provide support with this issue to have a better experience donating at...
