tl;dr : Good enough local library next to a playground, field, and rec center with bad, loud kids.
It is a small library so complaints about the book selection are nonsensical. I always find interesting gems. For others, please learn how to use the library book hold function.... the book you want will be bought to this library FOR FREE.
The complaints about the noise .... very valid. Bad and loud kids are there all the time making noise. I took off 1 star for this. It is not the library's fault that their ratchet parents didnt raise them better, or that they use it as free after-school care. The librarians sometimes try to reign them in, but they can only do so much. Wear headphones like you are on metro.
They do have great programs for kids. I dont have any, but that's nice, even though it brings in the lil-ratchets.
The complaints about the staff... mostly valid too as well. They are there and not super helpful, but they do help... just not with a smile or enthusiasm, except for the new girl on rotation. We'll see how long that lasts.

I would love to see more support for the librarians in this area so they can focus on what they do best and and allow others to bridge a gap with the youth who don’t have a place to go.
I also like that’s it’s located right next to the rec center...
