United States Postal Service — Attraction in Washington

I had missed delivery for the address that was wrongly put by me in the scroll down menu. On the 27th of Jan the person who my package was delivered to by mistake was kind enough to not sign for it. As a result the package was held at the Post Office as per tracking number. I went to this post office twice to pick up my package within 8 days of attempted delivery with no success. I even tried to call them before the second time to save myself the trip but you can keep calling as nobody will answer. The ladies working there are polite but they do not have a knowledge of what is going on. I was told that the package is not there (although by the tracking number it was held at this post office). First time the lady took my name ,address,phone number and she said she will try to contact the driver and call me back. She didn’t. Don’t make promises you cannot make. Second time I went there , the lady told me that someone picked my package. She said that apparently the person who requested for my package to be held at this post office came back for it. That didn’t make sense since even if they had the slip the name on the package is not the same as that person’s name and I assume you check ID’s. So she said that as a fact that “I don’t know if that lady realized it’s not hers”. So she just made up a story. So not helpful at all. Two days later I can see from the tracking number that the package is being returned. So I wish there was a better way to determine where my package is. That is disappointing because the story I was told I already knew it doesn’t make sense and two days later I find out I was lied to. That is very bad customer...

An absolute piece of crap post office. If I didn't live in the neighborhood I wouldn't even go there. Had to put a hold mail a couple of times when I went out of town and one time I came home to mail piled up. The hold mail never was placed. Another time the hold mail was a few days over what I had requested. And guess what, the same damn thing is happening right now. THe hold mail was supposed to be released two days ago and I haven't got any mail at all. Tried calling over there and it's a constant busy signal. One time went in person to complain and the clerk hadn't even opened the post office on time; opened it 15 minutes late because of course none of us have anything better to do. The people who work there are absolute doofuses. This place really really sucks. Why even publish a phone number? It is ALWAYS busy, as if they just leave it off the hook because they can't...

This facility is the absolute worst! This place lost 3 packages in less than 2 months and each time I was old it was my fault.Forgive me if this sounds dense but I am unsure how am i responsible for a delivery person did not put my package where it was supposed to be but update the system that it was. I was aware that a package was coming to me so I opted for text alerts. I got an alert saying my package was delivered but of course it wasn't. I called repeatedly only to be spoken to as if i was inconveniencing them and told there is nothing they can do and I should be more concerned with who I am purchasing from. Please explain how I paid for a package I received an update on my shipment but when the package was "delivered" this missing package is because of the vendor. If didn't live in the area I WOULD NEVER USE THIS FACILITY EVER! It is a waste of...
