It's the biggest park in the valley, and the kids love it. There are some health and safety concerns, though, and it needs to be cleaner. People walk their dogs and don't clean up after them, so watch where you and your child walk.
There are frequently degenerates partying in the pavilion, getting drunk and smoking pot, shouting profanity, and playing obnoxiously loud and inappropriate music.
There is a bit of graffiti teaching your children new words, and the ground has filthy cigarette butts everywhere you look. The park has become somewhat run down and has not been maintained as it should.
The bathrooms are set up better than many other park bathrooms, but the stall door is broken from being kicked in, and there will never be soap in the dispensers.
A couple of minutes walk away is the skate park which is known to everyone in the valley as the place where teens buy, sell, and do drugs. Ten and twelve-year-olds smoke cigarettes off the ground, and homeless people buy alcohol for kids. If you love and care about your kids, do not let them go to the skate park...
